Faith got drunk

Genesis looked around her bedroom and wasn't very sure about what to bring. She wanted to believe that she would only live with him temporarily but she of course knows better than to be this much of a fool.

'He wants to get close to us. It's obvious, stay away!' One side warned her. 'No, it's all going to be okay. Don't worry about it.' The other side told her. She sighed and picked up her most important belongings.

Things like her skincare products and toothbrushes were packed up first. She added a suitcase with her clothes and when she was done she brought them to her living room.

She placed the suitcase and small sports bag on the couch so that it would be easier for her to bring them into her car tomorrow after work. When she was done she heated the leftover food of her dinner the day before yesterday.

She sat down and ate her food in a lonely silence. She was missing her brother so much. He had not called her back in a while and that means that he's really busy. Thinking about her brother she decided to be a good sister and not let him worry about her.

She took out her phone and called Doctor Lee (refer to chapter 6)

"Genesis you finally called! Tell me when would you like to schedule our next appointment?" He asked. Genesis sighed. He went straight to the point and she wished he had not done that because she doesn't want to make an appointment.

"Is it possible to skip it again for this week?" She asked. "Not possible." He responded and she could tell he would not accept any excuses this time. Genesis then remembered that she would be a good sister and not make her brother worry.

"Alright then, does tomorrow sound good?" Genesis asked. "Yes, the only time I'm free tomorrow is from 10 am to 11 am." He responded. "Okay, that's fine," Genesis replied, and after the call ended she texted her brother.

'I made this week's appointment with doctor Lee you don't have to worry. I hope you are doing well. Call me soon, love you!' She sent the message with a few emojis and walked towards her study room.

She spent the rest of the afternoon in the study room going through Faith's report and she completely ignored Andrews. She didn't have the energy to think about him. Especially not after his pestering. That's why she didn't argue any further about moving in with Aiden. Andrew knows where she lives and she doesn't want him to continue pestering her.

In the end, Faith's report was all clean. She was just living her life as usual. She seemed to have gotten a bit spoiled through the years as well and Andrew had not lied about how she was attacked.

After reading her report Genesis worked on the new project and when she was done she decided to watch some tv. She was very bored and it made her miss her brother even more.

She picked up her phone and answered it because Faith was calling her which made her curious about the reason behind it.

"Hey!" She greeted her. "Gen can you come meet me. I haven't been feeling well. Is it okay if we hang out?" She asked and sounded a bit tipsy which made Genesis worried. "Are you drunk?" She asked.

"No.. well I did drink only one cup but I didn't like it so I took water instead and then soda." Faith replied. "Where are you?" Genesis asked not convinced. " It's a bar and restaurant. I ordered my food already and I'm quite bored." Faith replied childishly.

"So you aren't at the bar just at the restaurant section?" Genesis asked to confirm. "Exactly. My brother would kill me if I enter an actual bar." She replied with a laugh. "Don't worry he isn't here. I just wanted us to hang out but just the two of us." Faith told her.

Genesis frowned. "Tell me the address."

Genesis spotted Faith with a sad and bitter smile on her face. She walked towards her and sat down in the four-person table. "What's wrong?" Genesis asked. "You are finally here Gen." Faith replied.

" I'm just feeling down. You don't mind do you?" Faith asked but she sounded drunk. "You said you had only drunk one glass." Genesis scolded her. "I may or may have not drank another three while waiting for you…." She answered in a quieter voice.

Genesis sighed. "Let's get you-"

"No, I'm not going home." Faith interrupted her. "Do you know…. I hic* called your brother today." She said in a low voice, almost whispering. Genesis lifted her eyebrows in surprise and she sat next to her to listen to what she had to say.

"He said he isn't interested in me anymore. He said that I changed and that he likes someone else now…." She continued. "He does?" Genesis asked.

"Mmhmm he didn't tell me who she is but I will find out hic* soon." She mumbled.

"Gen? What are you doing here?" Someone asked. Genesis looked up to see Bae in front of their table. "Bae a friend got a bit drunk so I came here to pick her up and you?" Genesis replied.

Faith snapped her attention to Bae and she sighed exaggeratedly. "Oh, it's you. I have some news for you! Ethan doesn't like neither of us because he has someone else in his heart!" Faith yelled and Genesis had to quiet her down.

Bae frowned. She finally recognized Faith as the person she was talking to in her welcome back party and also the girl at the airport."I'm really bad at remembering faces…" She mumbled.

"Nice to see you again?" Bae replied not sure of how to respond. 'What does, who he likes have anything to do with me?' She wondered in confusion. She laughed dryly. "Miss Woods I think you misunderstood me. He is just, my brother-in-law. I don't have romantic feelings for him." Bae explained and sat down in front of the, cautiously.

"But I saw you in the airport that day and he hic* and what do you mean he's your brother in hic* law" Faith replied slightly shocked.

"Not at all. My friend was leaving the country that day. It was all a pure coincidence and yes he is my brother-in-law. "Does that mean that-" Faith turned to look at Genesis.
