"Sorry, what was that?" He asked and walked back towards her. Genesis took a deep breath and answered, " I said I'm worried about you, satisfied?" This time she did it in a louder voice.

"Yes. I am." He replied. " If you weren't so stubborn I wouldn't have to work so hard on getting you to admit how you feel." He added.

Genesis pouted. " You make it sound like it's a bad thing." Aiden shrugged. There was a small silence between them where they just looked at each other with a smile on their faces. Genesis then let a small laugh escape from her lips. " I'm working on that." She admitted. He chuckled and brought her into a hug.

"I'm patient but don't take too long." He whispered. Genesis closed her eyes and subconsciously hugged his waist.

"Sir we-" Miss Kelly gritted her teeth at the scene she just witnessed.

Genesis instantly let go and turned to look at who was at the door. " Our discussion is done and we have come to a decision." She hardly continued because of the anger and jealousy she felt. Aiden glared at her. " Miss Kelly, learn how to knock next time." He told her coldly.

Miss Kelly lowered her head and apologized with her fingernails digging into her palms. "I'll take my leave." She announced and closed the door behind her. Her knuckles had turned white and her long nails had dug onto her skin. ' I knew it! She's just a b*tch. Acting all innocent but behind closed doors she was trying to seduce my man!' She thought.

The color of her face had been drained and she was as pale as a white sheet of paper. She rushed to the bathroom to compose herself. "Agh!" She shouted and locked the bathroom door. She locked herself inside and did her best to control her anger.

Genesis closed her eyes. 'Great. Now I have another enemy on my list.' She thought with a sigh and opened her eyes again. She was getting annoyed at all these women so she sent Aiden a glare and took her anger out on him.

Aiden was the most annoyed because he was finally getting closer to her but then he was interrupted. When he saw her glaring at him he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. He gave her a puppy look as if asking 'What did I do wrong?'

Genesis facepalmed and rushed out of the room.

Aiden pouted and followed behind her.

As they entered the meeting room Genesis noticed Miss Kelly's pale face and red palms. She pursed her lips and took a seat. She crossed one leg over the other and raised an eyebrow at the glare she was receiving.

'Humph! It's not my fault he doesn't like an ugly chicken like you.' She thought and soon after she started coughing to cover up her laughter. This only angered Miss Kelly even more. Genesis cleared her throat and controlled her laughter. She gave Miss Kelly a look and confirmed her thoughts.

'Blame it on my sense of humor.' She apologized with her eyes. Miss Kelly was not necessarily ugly but she was considered average. Knowing the gossiping secretaries she works with on the top floor they could confirm her thoughts.

They would tell her that an average chicken like Miss Kelly can only dream to marry their CEO. Although Genesis took it as a joke she still felt bad. She shook her head to clear her thoughts.

"Assistant Gen we took a vote and we all...well most of us agreed to use your idea." The man who came instead of Ethan's side glanced at Miss Kelly as he spoke and Genesis understood who had disagreed with her idea.

'How professional Miss Kelly.' Genesis mocked. She would never hire an employee that would let go of such an opportunity just because of their issues. She did a mental note to mention this to Aiden later on.

Even if it might sound harsh this behavior is just unacceptable. Even her who didn't want to give Kira the endorsement decided to come up with an alternative instead of letting her personal feelings affect her decisions.

" Some of us have a few other ideas to add to yours but we can discuss that later on." He added and Genesis smiled at him. "Aside from that, we would like to know who the endorsement will be going to," Chris asked.

" I heard there is a really popular model whose name is...Kira Jones, I believe." Another person added. Aiden turned to look at Genesis to see what she would decide.

Genesis nodded. " Yes. I also put her on the candidate lists. I ask for you all to trust me on this. I will personally choose the celebrity. If the person I have my hopes on doesn't agree the endorsement will go to Miss Jones." Genesis explained and they all ended up agreeing.

" I created a statement that I want all of you to sing." She spoke and took out a paper from the folder she had left on the table earlier. " If you all don't mind for the sake of this project I would love it if we keep the news of the endorsement confidential. Since I'm not sure whether the person I have in mind will accept the offer, the endorsement isn't guaranteed to anyone in particular." She told them and signed the paper in front of her.

"I signed it." She continued with a smile. No one had any problem with it so they passed the statement down and signed it.

Even Miss Kelly who wanted to do something signed it because she didn't want to further damage her image in front of Aiden. When the statement listing their agreement of confidentiality ended back in her hands Genesis glanced at Aiden.

He nodded his head and also signed it. The meeting ended peacefully and everyone started leaving. Miss Kelly was the first one out the door because she didn't want to face Genesis without having the urge to skin her alive.

When everyone was gone the man who had come in place of Ethan stepped up and extended his hand to Genesis. " Miss Smith, it's an honor meeting you." He told and Genesis nodded. "Nice to meet you too Mr.Stephan" She answered.

The man let go of her hand when he felt Aiden's cold stare. He glanced at Aiden and then back at Genesis who was smiling innocently. A light bulb turned on in his head and he gave Genesis a knowing look to which she frowned.

"We hope to have you back as our CEO soon." He told her and Genesis was surprised. "You know…" She mumbled.

"Yes, I do this is why I volunteered to come here. It's a great honor to finally meet the woman behind the greatness of SY Industries. Although you were only there for a short time before leaving, you have no idea how much impact you made among us." He thanked her.

Genesis nodded at his compliment. "Thank you." She replied and watched him leave. She understood that her brother trusted this man therefore, let him come. She felt guilty for leaving but she knew it was the best. Even if she did a lot of good she also failed her employees during that dark period in her life.

She felt someone hugging her from behind. " Don't think about that. It hurts to see you thinking about that time again." She heard him mumble.
