Her request echoed what went through in his mind. He had always wanted to bring her back to the lakefront villa.
"Then, we'll go tomorrow?" Kyoya tilted his head, giving her a smile, "We could welcome winter there. Even though it might not be snowing yet, it's still good."
Thinking of the fallen ginkgo leaves she saw when she visited the villa more than two months ago, Shouko immediately agreed, "Okay."
The two of them started packing their luggage after dinner. They planned to depart as soon as they finished breakfast. As Shouko was folding the clothes she would bring, her phone suddenly ringing.
"Hello, Teacher Shoda?" Holding the phone in between her ear and shoulder, Shouko didn't stop the task at hand. She placed the folded clothes inside the suitcase one by one.
