Chapter 15: Sick day part 1 ( I think )
My surroundings feel warm. My head is throbbing from the party. I feel and hear someone breathing. Wait, I recognize it, it's Kaleb's breathing. My entire body feels heavy, even my eyelids are heavy. I forced my eyes opean a little and saw I was in a king size bed that have curtains. I peaked out the curtains with a blink and saw that I'm in my new castle and the sun has not risen yet. I turn my head to my right and saw the shirtless Kaleb sleeping right next to me. I played with his hair for a bit then kissed his forehead. He looked like he was in deep sleep so I knew he wouldn't wake up instantly if it get up.
I got up, almost stumbling out the room. My head started throbbing more then I started to get dizzy. I looked at my watch that has been forgotten to be take off. It was 4:35am. I got dizzy again and I fell down on the floor. I can feel the vibration of someone footsteps running towards me. I couldn't focus at all to see if I knew those footsteps. I tried using my sence of smell but I couldn't focus enough with all the other smells of other people lingering arround the castle.
Chloe! Chloe! a familiar voice said to me. I opened my heavy eyes a little to see who it was. I saw Prince Zach. I slowly got up ignoring everything that's is wrong with me. Zach, can you take me to my personal library, I asked in a cracked voice. I assume that they built a special library for me because I always have a special library. I was able to keep my eyes opean along the way and saw that my have a secret entrance going down.
Hey Chloe, are you feeling alright, Prince Zach said. Yes! I'm fine!, I burst out. Sorry, I said while closing my eye. Hey Prince Zachary do I have any royal duties today, I said while he sat me down on the chaice ( type of lounge chair ). Yes, you do and your job for today is to recruit people in the army today, navy tomorrow, and airforce on the next day and you should know I lack your experience of war and tactics so it's your job, also its King Zachary my Queen, King Zach said to the newly Queen Chloe. I can have Zen do it for me and do me a favor and dont let alot of people know about this place without my permission or if it an emergency, I said while pulling Zach to sit down after I sat my self up.
Zachary sat down then I layed back down with my head being in his lap. I flicked on the soft lamp and teleported a book that's about a girl stuck in a love triangle in the old times with assassins and war in it, in my head then gave it to Zachary. Can you read this to me, my dear friend and unloved husband, I said with a chuckle. Why do you have to say unloved we might be in marriage in name to be the ruler of the kingdom but I still get some type of love, right? Zach said while staring deep in my eyes. Just read my the book, I said while trying to stop my sneeze. I ignore the question.
While Zachary was reading the book, I slowly fell asleep. I felt the room getting hot. I can feel my self starting to sweat. My throat started to feel dry and I started to get thirsty. I opean my red glowing eyes then started whispering Zen's name under my breath, trying to summon him to me. I went to sit up and it felt like the gravity was pushing me down. I was strong enough to stand up but when I did, I fell over. Everything went black. I felt something sticking in my mouth. I opened my eyes and I saw a thermometer in my mouth with a doctor present. I looked around and I was in my room. Do you drink blood or eat regular food, the doctor asked. I dont want him here, get out my castle and someone call doctor Christopher and have me fine his location so I can get him here, I said while yelling at everyone. Dont mind her Kaleb, she gets a little bit more unstable in alot of ways when she dont feel well, one time she hurt Brice and if she hurt you the same way, you would die, vampire or not. King Zach said with unnecessary exaggeration to scare him off.
In matter of seconds I teleported Doctor Christopher, one of the world's youngest doctor, scientist, and engineer then offered him a job here. Of course I will but let me help you first, Doctor Christopher said. Its quite obvious that you have a terrible fever but something else is wrong. I started to eat my soup but I started to throw it up. That's werid, you never throw up like that when you have a fever. Here the best for you is to sick with liquids and I will go test your blood work in the medical wing but I tell everyone one that you need to be alone just for their safety, Doctor Christopher said. Wait! What time is it, I asked while looked for my glasses. It's 11am, Christopher said while walking out the door.
I closed my eyes for a bit then I opened them when I heard King Zachary sneaking in my bedroom. Hey Zachie, what time was it when you found me on the hallway, I asked while rubbing my eyes. I found you at 6 almost 7 in the morning then you slept for awhile in your private library, I kinda feel asleep too though, but when we took you to your room it was at 10 then just now you awoke, Zach said while walking towards me. Hey, how do you know that you still like me only as a brother since we haven't talk in years, King Zachary said while sitting on the bed next to the new Queen. Its because that I know I love you but I dont love you like for you to be my boyfriend or husband but I love you like I love Brice, also the funny thing is we are legally married and I'm not even 18 yet, I said with a chuckle. Why you asked? I asked while raising a brow. No reason I'm just curious, Zach said.
Can I sleep next to you my dear SISTER, I haven't been sleeping well because I been worrying about you until now, Zachary said with a smile while moving my hair out of my face. Sure, come lay down with me, I sleep best when I feel someone else body heat or feel their heartbeat, I said while moving the covers then put it back on after Zach get in bed with me. Moments later while I'm half sleep, Doctor Christopher and Kaleb walked in.
When Kaleb saw Chloe and Zach sleeping together made him furious but he remembered that their kind have multiple mates. Christopher saw the blood from Kaleb clinching his fist so hard. Christopher saw the moment when the blood hit the floor is when the Queen immediately sat up covering her mouth and her eyes glowing red.
Um Brice, please leave no trace of blood around her right now, Christopher said but whispering in his ear. Okay, my lady, you are missing something in your diet but due to what I just witnessed I know what you need, Christopher said out to the Queen. Blood, that's what I am missing and I know I can eat regular human food but I have to have blood in my system, I said. Yes, that's right but if you knew that you could've told me, Christopher said. Its was just a theory and I didn't tell you because- because I didn't want to emit it that I need to live off of blood to live and enjoy my 5 stars food, I while laying back down, cuddling up to Zach to get comfortable. I brong some blood bags with me so here you are and they to refrain to walk or do anything, Christopher said. Your powers will be absolutely out of control like you know from the past time you was sick but since your stronger it's going to be worse damage, Doctor Christopher said. I'm so happy that when you get sick it dont spreads, Zach said under his breath. Hm? I said to Zachary.
What ever, let me drink some blood and go to sleep on my human pillow, I said after sucking one of the 4 blood bags dry. Zach face started to turn red. Can I join you guys, Kaleb said while wiping his wet hands on his pants. Sure, but have to put a shirt on, I said while my face turning extra red and looking at the wall besides him.
