Chapter 2: Chapter 2
They were driving towards their rental house. Will was now relaxing in her seat wondering what just happened. She hadn't thought that six hours of a day could change her life completely. It was like an unexpected adventure to her for which she wasn't prepared.
" Well, I'm Bow Orange ", said Bow. Thinking that they hadn't even introduced themselves to each other personally. And also because the atmosphere was dire inside the car.
" Will White ", answered Will.
" Mrs. Will Bow Orange ", said Bow. Smiling.
Will looked at him. Thinking. That a playboy was written in her destiny. Cute. But she was not an easy going person.
" Oh", said Will. " What were you doing in the Book Shop? You don't look like a Book person".
" I'm not ", replied Bow. "Why should I be a Book person? "
" Because Books are Love. You just have to carry a Book to go on an adventure even without travelling and spending money."
" Okay, I have a Book person now ", said Bow.
" Are you enjoying your this adventure ?"
" No ", said Will. " I was not in the mood for this adventure. But now I would like to explore. "
"Interesting Person ", said Bow.
" Thank you ", replied Will.
" So you are a cook. Right? ", asked Bow.
" No, Why should I be a cook, even I don't know how to make a coffee ", replied Will.
" Because girls are supposed to be talented more than boys in each field. Aren't you? ", said Bow.
" No I don't have that talent. I will be more happy seeing you that you are more talented than me ", replied Will.
" Okay ", said Bow.
Now the car felt silent again. Will lost in her other adventure and Bow drove silently straight on the road. Bow was happy that he had a company now. An interesting companion. He was driving from the last two hours. Sun was running toward the horizon. They reached in the Dawn Town of the City. Soon in front of the house.
Will stood behind Bow on the steps when he was unlocking the front door. Then she heard the barking of a dog when she turned around...., a puppy with Big-Brown eyes, red colour...
" We have a companion, Leo ", said Bow.
Leo ran towards him, hopping around him, licking his shoes. First, Bow squatted then picked him up.
" You are hungry. Unlucky dog, you didn't caught any squirrel from neighbor's garden. Right? ", said Bow.
Leo was releasing pleasant voices. On the other hand, Will was looking at them. Smiling, her first smile of the day.
" Don't you like little Leo ", asked Bow.
" Yes, Why not? ", replied Will.
" You go ahead, I have to wash him otherwise he'll ruin the couch ", said Bow.
" Ready for the bath. Aren't you little pupper?...
When they went backside of the house in the garden, Will went inside. Exploring the house.
Wooded floor, wooded chairs around the wooded table, Leo's couch, well furnished kitchen, one bedroom. A box full of Leo's balls, balls of every size. Interesting. She went inside the kitchen and drank some water. Rested her backpack and Books on the table. She sat on a chair and placed her head on the table. She was too tired and she slept there.
When Bow and the little pupper came inside, she was sleeping and might exploring some place in her sleep. Bow locked the door behind him and gestured toward couch so that little pupper couldn't make any mess there. He went inside the restroom. Ten minutes later Bow came out of the washroom and went inside the kitchen. He made there three cereal bowls for each one. Then headed toward Will's chair. She was still sleeping. Innocent. He sat there and looked patiently at her. Full lips, pale skin, black hairs, fine eye lashes.....Innocent appearance. Calm.
" Get up, Will ", said Bow.
Will sat straight and looked at him. Wet hairs, fresh... Beautiful.
" Leo is starving because of you, Look at him ", claimed Bow.
" I already said that I don't know how to cook ", replied Will. Then she looked toward the couch. There was Leo already looking at her. His eyes were as if he was about to cry.
" I said that because we are late for meal, and I made something edible ", said Bow.
And Bow went inside the kitchen and came out with two bowls one for Leo and another for Will. As the bowl touched the ground so was Leo. He was eating as fast as he could. He was really starving. Bow placed Will's bowl on the table and went inside for his own bowl. Now Bow was sitting, with his bowl, in front of her. Leo's half meal was on the floor and now he was licking the floor.
They finished their meal by stealing glances of each other.
" I brought you a night comforter that is there in the closet. You have to take a shower and change into comforter before you fell asleep again ", said Bow.
" Everyone involved in that plan except me ", said Will. Tears coming in her eyes hundredth time.
" Okay, don't you know that everything happens for a reason. See, Leo is happy that now he has you, another companion ", said Bow.
" And you? ", asked Will.
Leo came under the table and sat on her feet. She reached for his face and patted him softly.
" Come on, Leo, in the kitchen, I have to clean the dishes ", ordered Bow.
And in another minute Leo was in the kitchen. Bow lifted the empty bowls and went inside the kitchen. Will stood from her chair and went for the night comforter and disappeared in the restroom.
Bow was in the living room, when she came out, working on his laptop and Leo was at his couch. Now where she supposed to sit? What she supposed to do? Then she grabbed a Book and went for the couch where Leo was resting. Bow noticed her. He was waiting for her to start a conversation. But he knew that he was waiting for eternity.
They kept pretending for an half hour that they were busy with their work. Leo too was silent.
" I'm going to sleep ", announced Bow. " And turn the light off of the living room when you feel tired from your adventures."
" Okay, Good Night ", replied Will.
Bow smiled and said, " Good Night "...
Then walked towards the couch and bent there to kiss Leo and said," Sweet Dreams "..
And he went inside with his laptop in his hand. She was also tired and she was waiting for him to sleep and then she picked the little pupper up and fell asleep with him on his couch.
Now little Leo had a companion in real terms.
