Chapter 11: Finals of Chunin exams and Brothers unite
In the preliminaries, Sakura was able to defeat Ino due to her having some medical Ninjutsu like chakra scalpel and Chakra Absorption Technique that I taught her.
Sasuke then went away and met Kakashi and his team, in which Kakashi asked him to train with him and he agreed because he needed to learn Chidori, and Kakashi was the only one who could teach him. He had already released some of his Chakra suppression and kept it to high Chunin levels on the verge of Jonin levels which he will probably release to low Jonin levels in the coming month.
Kakashi assigned Ebisu to Naruto and Sakura was sent to the hospital for learning medical Jutsu.
He had already asked Sakura to train well and fight her best in the final round even if she didn't win.
In the following month, he trained along with Kakashi and when he taught him Chidori, he showed him his 3-tomoe sharingan and copied the same jutsu and started learning Chidori.
After Sasuke was able to learn Chidori, he upgraded it with EXP points and then asked Kakashi to train in combat with him.
Kakashi and Sasuke trained a lot in the following month and at the near ending of the month, Sasuke relieved his chakra suppressing seal to keep low jonin levels of chakra and fought to his heart's content increasing his battle-awareness.
At the end of month, Sasuke and Kakashi went towards a restaurant to eat a good meal and lazily went back due to which his match was at first postponed and they barely got on time.
Naruto had won the match with his shadow clones, even though he knew Rasengan but it was a secret for now which Naruto wanted to keep for the final round against Sasuke.
Naruto had also learnt Summoning Jutsu with Jiraiya, but it was a bit of overkill and unnecessary against Neji so he still fought using tactics against Neji.
Gaara was excited to fight against Sasuke, and Sasuke was excited to show his capabilities to the entire world.
He played along with Gaara and dodged the attacks by activating his 3-Tomoe Sharingan for some time and when Gaara used his absolute defense, Sasuke used the Chidori Stream to pierce through the sand barrier and used his 3-Tomoe sharingan to put Gaara in Genjutsu through the hole left by the skirmish.
Audience members who were watching with a binoculars were stunned because 3-Tomoe Sharingan meant a Jonin level Uchiha ninja and a 3-tomoe Sharingan at 12 years age Genin was an amazing talent never seen before.
The reputation and skills of Uchiha were too well-known.
At this moment, attack of Sand and Orochimaru started and fighting ensued as things went like canon except this time Gaara was not going to be taken away.
After the war started, Sasuke released the Chakra suppressing seals to high Kage-level Chakra and put the Sand ninja who wanted to rescue Gaara including Temari,Kankuro and Baki in Genjutsu and started applying Genjutsu to any attacking ninja as soon as possible. These people were already going to die in this battle. So getting some information or Jutsus from enemy ninjas might be better for the village than killing them.
Sasuke would just speed things up and free some people like Gaara and his siblings, so under Genjutsu they went outside the village and Sasuke followed along and then remade the seal after threatening the 1 tailed doggy inside.
Even though Shukaku the racoon dog was enraged but after beating him up a bit, he finally became an obedient doggy.
Sasuke tweaked the seal and asked Shukaku to become friends with Gaara who was feeling very sleepy 😴. He left the key of the seal to Shukaku and told him that Akatsuki will capture it after 3 years to recreate 10-tails and sacrifice him.
He decided to trust the racoon dog, even though it was a little naughty and asked Gaara to let it roam the village and take over his body from time to time.
After that, Sasuke went on to collect enemy ninja's corpses in the village for the purpose of ending the attack as soon as possible.
The attack was thwarted early and there were many ninjas outside the barrier where Hokage fought and were gathering due to my help in killing huge number of enemies.
After Orochimaru came out of the barrier, he had to sacrifice his Sound 4 ninjas who had made the barrier to fend off the attacks of the surrounding Ninjas and was barely able to support himself, so the escape killed 2 of the sound 4 under the combined attack of many ninjas of the leaf. Hokage had become a dead corpse in the ruins.
After the incident, everyone attended the funeral and search for Tsunade arc was starting soon and before that will be Itachi's encounter with his little brother.
Sasuke was preparing himself for a fight and bought Shuriken and explosive tags.
He started keeping a watch on the Leaf village gate and 6 hours after the funeral, he saw his brother wearing the Akatsuki uniform, he started following him in shadows. Itachi and Kisame went to the Dango shop and then towards the lake after encounter with Kakashi in the shop.
Just after Kakashi, Asuma and Kurenai were fighting his brother, Sasuke came out from the shadows and greeted his big brother.
Sasuke : "Hello there, big brother! How have you been all these years?"
Itachi was stunned at the familiar voice who got close to the battlefield without even him noticing and distanced himself along with Kisame who followed suit.
Itachi tried to apply genjutsu but Sasuke had already opened his 3-Tomoe Sharingan.
Itachi felt pain knowing the amount of agony one had to go through in order to reach that level at a young age but kept an indifferent face and started talking in Genjustu to Sasuke.
Itachi : "How have you been these years? Sasuke?"
Itachi : "You are still no match for me Sasuke, you don't have the same eyes as me." as his eyes changed to Mangekyo Sharingan.
Sasuke : "Is that really the case?" and opened his own Eternal Mangekyo.
Itachi was completely shocked and felt more pain in his heart for his little brother, as he must have lost a very important person to him (according to him) in order to awaken his Sharingan within these nearly 5 years. Itachi was a bit relieved that his little brother was now capable enough to protect himself and not die due to Danzo's scheme easily.
Sasuke : "You don't have to pretend in front of me Itachi. I already know the truth about your actions, your mission, what I wish for is to you to accept me in this Akatsuki or you to leave this Akatsuki."
Itachi was calculating rapidly, thinking about how his brother was able to get to know the truth. Did Danzo tell him?3rd Hokage?Madara? Was there anyone else,he didn't notice? whether letting Sasuke join would be a good thing and what was the current purpose of Sasuke for joining Akatsuki?
Sasuke spoke again : "I already know about the specifics of this organisation. You have already done your best in many things."
Sasuke : "There is another option, let's go away from this village together and hunt down Akatsuki's members together. There is no need to feel sad "alone" about your mission anymore."
Sasuke : "The young me hated you to death. The current me still loves you and understands more about you. No need to stay all alone and take up everything yourself."
Itachi wanted to talk but their conversation was interrupted by Asuma sending a wind blade towards Itachi while Kisame stopped it with Samehada.
Itachi immediately cast Genjustu once again and told Sasuke to meet later with their target Naruto. Itachi had found a good friend in Kisame and wanted to let him leave alive.
Itachi and Kisame then fought some more with Kakashi, Kurenai and Asuma and exhausting them of Chakra easily.
Itachi used Tsukuyomi on Kakashi to send him in coma for some time.
Just then, Might guy entered and Itachi and Kisame went away considering it to be an unfavorable situation.
After everyone dispersed, Sasuke went to find Naruto as soon as possible and tailed him from shadows.
Naruto started on his journey towards finding Tsunade the next day along with Jiraiya.
After Naruto rented an inn while Sasuke tailed Naruto. When he sensed Itachi coming to the inn, he took them along as Kisame and Itachi followed him as they battled outside the city.
Itachi and Kisame had just reached the place where Sasuke entered their sight. Sasuke was pulled in Genjutsu with Itachi.
Itachi : "Akatsuki is still too dangerous. What information do you know about Akatsuki?What is your source? Who told you about my mission."
Sasuke replied all the information he knew from the canon and dumped it all to Itachi about their purpose and who was the final villain for now and told his information source as him being Six-Path Sage's reincarnation and him refining the chakra soul of Indra with his help to let him grow up early to prevent Kaguya from destroying the world again.
Itachi got silent and was processing this information dump and finally asked Sasuke to tell him what to do for now.
Sasuke was stunned hearing Itachi ask a question and asked Itachi to join him after he killed Kisame.
Itachi : "We can attack Kisame but let him leave alive."
Itachi thought about destroying Akatsuki's ring but kept it for the time being as it might become useful in future.
Sasuke used his ability of Eternal Mangekyo to locate the co-ordinates of rain village and created the portal right below Kisame after Itachi used Genjutsu to stun him as he was sent to the rain village(the base of pain).
Sasuke and Itachi went away together. Just after they went away, Jiraiya secured Naruto getting confused about who will put a beauty in Genjutsu if their goal was not Naruto.
After reaching a safe distance away. Sasuke went near Itachi and put his hand on Itachi's eyes who wanted to resist at first but finally decided to trust his little brother.
Sasuke wanted to upgrade his brother's eyes to Eternal Mangekyo and also increase his physique. He had tried to upgrade some common flowers and stuff or heal some fishes using sytem but it just took 100 times more EXP, but things could be upgraded.
[Itachi POV]
Itachi felt a mysterious energy coursing through his body healing his internal injuries from fighting over the years and making his cells, mind power stronger as well as increasing his eye powers to a higher level.
This process happened for 10 minutes as Sasuke and Itachi stayed still before Sasuke removed his hand from Itachi's eyes.
Itachi's eyepowers had decreased quite a bit over the years and had weak vision due to excessive usage of Mangekyo.
He was happy to see his brother more than becoming stronger himself.
He had mostly lost his will to live and had decided to die by his brother's hands sooner or later as letting his brother become stronger in order to survive was the only reason left in his life but watching his brother happily smiling at him, he felt genuinely happy.
Maybe all these years after leaving the village, he wasn't searching for redemption but hoping to be forgiven and stay together with his only family left in the world.
Itachi felt happier as he was able to confide in someone after such a long time. In a life filled with darkness, even a little light can become a joy to those who seek it.
But he immediately thought about how his brother could know about his mission and things related to Akatsuki so well.

After their transformation, both Itachi and Sasuke now possessed the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.
Itachi became free from blindness and he had already sorted out the information in the time of his transformation.
Now Sasuke had his brother at his side and was making a plan on their future actions. He decided to go with Itachi and travel the world as they beat up people or missing nins.
He decided to make a team with his brother and hunt down the members of Akatsuki whenever he gets the chance.
Itachi had already gained all the information about this mystery organisation and "information exploitation" was Itachi's strongest point since childhood.
Itachi had already gained some warmth being with his brother in this world, where he thought he will he have to spend everyday of his life in pain, sadness and numbness.
Itachi removed his Akatsuki cloak, burning it and kept the ring as memento and a location detector for other Akatsuki members and went along with Sasuke as they started their new journey.
(A/N-1 : What about Naruto and Sakura?They didn't know about his departure, so he is still a ninja of Leaf village for the time being.)
(A/N-2 : What about Kakashi? Why didn't Kakashi stop Sasuke? Because Kakashi was in hospital due to Itachi's tsukuyomi.)
