Shan Shan glared at her grandfather incredulously.She had even forgotten her place as his secretary and was now glaring at him.It really was a crazy will and she was amazed that her grandfather had drafted it.
She looked at her grandfather,who was smiling at her and was about to say more but he cut her off."The will is perfectly legal, child and let me remind you that it is not your place to judge the client's wishes.Shan Shan, sit here and listen to this.Moving on this is going to be the most difficult case and my last case.In fact, if handled wrongly, it can have my license cancelled and my life's work and reputation will be sent down the drain. If both are legally eligible then the trust created will have the final decision. And that is what is today's meeting is all about.But Old man Lu had not expected to pass away soon after he created this will.He had thought that when he passed away,his friends would pay respect to him and make a just decision.But it has been eighteen years since the man passed away and now Chairwoman Lu's network and roots within the people in the trust are as much powerful as that man if not more powerful..
So now the trust is in a dilemma. Now this is where I can be implicated.The old man must have told his wife about his will and soon after she started planning to put Lu Yeona on the throne of Lu Enterprises.It also did not help that General Xie who was Old Man Lu's son in law had moved to a small village after his wife passed away. All would have been fine,if both the girls had not known the condition of the will and then the property would have been divided equally.But a few years ago I came to know that Lu Yeona knew the will's contents.It was at your seventeenth birthday party when you and Lu Yeona had the showdown and she said something..That gave me a pause and after pondering a bit,I broke my ethics for the first time in my career and decided to tell General Xie..Old man Lu wanted the will to be fair,but Chairwoman Lu had misused his trust to place her chosen person on the chair.Last year when I went to have a talk with General Xie,I came to know that he had already passed away a few weeks of receiving the information.I had no way of finding out if General Xie had used the information I sent so I gave up on it,leaving it to fate.But then Xie Eun came the day before yesterday."
Shan Shan heard her grandfather's voice and realized the severity of the matter.The fact that her grandfather had broken his code of ethics meant that this matter was very important him. She wanted to burst out that the dumb b****,Yeona had no business inheriting Lu Enterprises but knew that this was not the time to say anything..But another thing was clear,grandfather did not want Lu Yeona to inherit as well.So she tentatively asked,"Then is Lu Yeona going to inherit?Are you worried that once she ascends,she will creates problems for you?But General Xie is already dead.Are you feeling bad for the other girl because she lost out?Is that why you took her to the ball last night?Did she come to know something and came to you for help?"
