Chapter 313: Getting to know each other (2)

The other ladies of the Mei family had been busy watching Mei Rong and Secretary Chu before their gaze turned to the other direction. 

Guan Yong was flirting with a woman. Well, he was actually speaking with the lady but it looked like flirtation to them. 

"What? A new girlfriend?" Mother Mei asked, and stood up angrily before they could stop her. And before Jiaying realized what her mother was up to, she was already halfway close to where Yong was seated.

"Mother please.... do not do this to me." Jiaying begged in a very quiet voice since they were only a few feet away from Yong who she guessed was already looking at them. 

"Move out of the way! I won't let him hurt my daughter and go play with some other woman. That won't happen!" 

"Yes! It won't happen." Lijuan echoed passionately as she joined them.
