Chapter 248: Don't be surprised

Shan stood in front of the mirror as she tried applying a bit of makeup to her face, she really wished Jinhai had given her a clue as to the kind of party they were attending.

After applying the makeup she stepped back to check out her overall outfit and makeup, she didn't look too bad. She was wearing the same gown she had been wearing when she went on her first date with Yang Lei. She really hoped the gown wouldn't bring her the residue of the bad luck from the last date.

She quickly picked up her to phone to check the time. It was exactly 7 PM. Just then, her phone began to ring. It was Lijuan calling. Good thing, she had planned to give her a call before leaving. 

"Hey babe?" Shan said into the phone. 

"Do not freak out." Lijuan warned in advance. Shan could hear her pacing around where ever she was and she could picture the scene really well, she could see Lijuan cleaning her sweaty palm on whatever she was wearing.
