Chapter 230: Be honest.

Yun cleared the table when they finished eating and led her to the couch to sit.

He sat down first and offered her his hand for her to take it but she looked at him suspiciously. 

"Why?" 

"Why?" He asked with a raised brow. 

"Yes, why." She asked a bit nervously.

"Okay... let's  see..." He sat up and continued to look at her. "You are my girlfriend, and as such, you shouldn't be scared to take my hand." He said reasonably. 

Well, that was true. But it was late at night and they were the only ones inside the house. Slowly, she raised her hand and dropped it on his open palm while he rewarded her with a smile. 

A little tug from his end made her lose balance and fall on top of his body. He took the opportunity to wrap his hand around her waist while he lay down on the couch with his head on the armrest and Lijuan lying on top of him with her eyes wide open.
