Chapter 78: Mood swing..

"This is my pretty Juan right?" Yanju asked with obvious confusion in his voice. The voice didn't sound like Pretty Juan's nor the other lady's voice whose call he had been expecting.

"Ha ha ha!" Shan laughed awkwardly.... "Of course it's me–" She stopped talking immediately and turned to look at Lijuan with a confused look.

"What is it?" Lijuan asked curiously.

"Can you give me a minute babe? I need to fix something." Shan said to Yanju before placing the call on mute. 

"What is it? What's wrong?" Lijuan asked. 

"I'm sure you must have rubbed off your slow thinking on me. How the hell did he suddenly call me 'babe' when I called him with my phone?" Shan asked with a frown. 

It took Lijuan a few seconds to get the drift and she gasped. "That's true." She said with wide eyes. 

"I guess we have to ask him." Shan said and cleared her throat again before removing the call from mute.
