"I learnt you went over with your young man to see Chairman Wang last night." Chairman Mei said during breakfast making Lijuan look up from her food immediately. 

"Yes sir." She said before glancing at her mother briefly. It was really awkward being the centre of attention. 

"So? How did it go?"Chairman Mei asked. 

"It went well. He was nice. And he says he wants the family to attend his coming birthday." Lijuan said making Rong suddenly lose her appetite.  

So she was not only dating Yun but was now making plans to marry him? How much does his grandfather know about her to accept her so easily? Rong wondered. 

"Really? But Chairman Wang never holds a public birthday party. Everyone knows he is a very private person." Chairman Mei said looking at her. 

"Yes. It's a private birthday celebration but he wants our family to be there since I am seeing his grandson." Lijuan ended the sentence in a very low voice.
