Candle light dinner..! (chptr 25)
The next morning when I got up I had a tray right next to me which had cookies and a cup of tea. I was happy and called Nick in the room,
"Nick keep this on the dining table, will have the breakfast together". And I went to the bathroom to get a shower.
" Did you sleep well Jenna?"
" I slept well thank you, why did you prepare this I was able to do the chores today".
" It's okay, I woke up early as I had to get some clothes for me".
" Okay well as I'm feeling well can we go for a movie after the shopping?"
" Yes we can I'll ask someone to buy the tickets".
" Let's continue the breakfast".
And we were done with the breakfast and decided to play videogames.
"Today I'll make sure Jerry that I beat you in the game".
" Try your best". He said with a smirk.
We played the game for like two hours and then he said that he has some work so he would return in the evening and will pick me so that we would enjoy the decided plan.
As we were going out I cleaned all the mess and finished the dishes and was set to get ready.
I just wore a simple Tee ,denims and a sling bag.We usually prefered going in my jeep so that we are not snapped together. He was here and we left the house.
"What are we shopping today?"
"Anything you want ,the clothes are on me today".
"So you should select one for me then".
" Okay, sounds great".
We went to several boutiques in the mall and there was a last one which I really liked so they had these customised party wear and Nick selected a pretty blue colour gown which would look bomb in the party and I thought I could match with Nick.
"Your choice is on point Nick".
"I know".
"And you're looking great in this gown ,they are the best justification for your personality".
" Which is ?"
" Simple,unique and confident".
" Thank you so much , let's just buy it".
And we bought some candles and home decors for my house and then went for the movie.We watched a horror movie and I was just holding his arm the entire time .I love watching horror movies but on such a big screen it is more scary.
And I suggested Nick that we could order pizzas and binge watch something at my house and then would have chocolate chip ice cream and he actually liked the plan.
We reached home and I arranged everything got the beer bottles, pizzas and my TV. We were watching for like an hour and suddenly the power cuts off.
"Nick,I think the electricity has cut off .We need to start the generator".
"You wait right here, I'll do it".
" Go slowly don't hurt yourself".
And I was just waiting and he didn't came back.
" Nick where are you?.. Oh fish..!" And I hurt myself with the couch.
" What happened Jenna are you okay? I think there is some problem with the generator it will revive in an hour".
" We can have our food wait I'll get the candles".
And I lightened up the candles and it was more like a candle-light dinner which was quite romantic with some beer and pizza.
"This looks like an indirect date Nick, isn't it?"
" Do you want to take this as a date?"
" Shut up have your pizza". And we both smiled .I don't know if it was the beer but Nick's smile was hypnotising me .He has this cute dimples when he smiles ,the way he slightly blushes and his hard voice.I was just looking at him and then he noticed it.
"Jenna what are you looking at?"
"Your smile, it looks different today".
"I know this is the first time I'm having a dinner like this and I'm happy as recently before meeting you I had lost my happiness.You know what you're really special to me".
I thought if we both stayed awake for a longer time something might just happen between us. So I just changed the topic and told him that I was sleepy and he told me that he needed to go back.
"okay Jenna I'm leaving now, see you tomorrow as I've planned the meeting for the merch".
" Alright, drive safe and text me when you reach".
" Yes you close the gate first, bye goodnight".
" Bye, good night".
And his driver arrived and he left and I went back to my room.
