Chapter 22: Proves friendship everytime(chptr 22)
As I took the painkiller I slept till noon when I woke up I was very hungry as I didn't even had my breakfast properly so I took my car keys and drove to a grocery shop . While in the grocery shop I realized that I have fever so I took the medicines and went back home. Ate my meal and went for a shower to feel better. When I got out I felt better but weak . I called Mr Ning that I couldn't come as I was not well and have fever. Mr Ning told me that he would come to see me and get something so I told him to get some juice and stuff. Just within an hour he reached my house.
"Boss , here is your stuff and please take a good rest you have to recover fast. And don't worry about the company I'm here".
" Thank you so much Mr Ning".
I just drank some juice while listening to music and fell asleep. My sleeping and relaxing thing just went on for like more two days. I didn't even check my phone and didn't knew what was happening and stuff. I just was trying my best to recover. I directly woke up next morning took a walk in the garden but I was unable to because of the weakness.
**Meanwhile in France.
"What's wrong with Jenna , why is she not picking up my call? She told me that she had important paperwork but now the third day is almost going to end and still no contact".
Nick calls Mr Ning,
" Hello, MrNing I'm Nick Rodrigues".
" Hey Mr Nick".
" Mr Ning may I know if Jenna is around you I need to talk to her she is not picking up my call".
" Mr Nick , boss is unwell since days as she was awake working for the drafts".
" What..?? She didn't tell me anything. Is she fine now? "
" No, she is still on recovery I got her medicines as she was unable to walk".
" What the hell? She was unable to walk? Why didn't you took her to the hospital? "
" I'm sorry Mr Nick, I didn't knew it would turn this serious".
" Oh chuck it". And Nick hungs up the call.
** Now In LA,
I slept the whole day and the next morning I woke up just blinking my eyes I see Nick beside me sitting, I just screamed..
"Ohh what the hell are you doing here..!!".
"Shut up and have this soup".
" What.?? Don't you still have two concerts left".
" Just have this I said don't speak".
" Why did you leave your work , are you for real? You can't just leave it".
" You want me to feed you right? " And just grabs the spoon and puts it in my mouth.
"Okay okay I'll have it".
"That's like a good girl, how can I perform when you're sick to hell".
"Aren't you afraid , you're in loss now".
" Don't worry I'll look after it, how can I lose my only Tom and my saviour".
" Can you stop, you need to go back".
" I'm not going anywhere we are going to the hospital".
" Wait! What? I'm not going to the hospital".
" Yes you are and if you deny I will just lift you up and take you there without wearing any hat or shades*.
"No you won't do that".
And he literally picked me up took my flip-flops and my jacket . I was in my pyajamas and drops me in the jeep.
"Okay wait wait I'll come, you first cover urself".
And he drives me to the hospital.
**Meanwhile in the hospital.
"Mr Nick your girlfriend is absolutely fine she just needs to rest and have a proper diet".
And we looked at each other and the minute I wanted to say he's not my boyfriend the nurse called the doctor. And me and Nick gave each other looks.
"Mr Nick doctor said you can take Miss Jenna back".
"Thank you".
"Jerry I'm literally very tired I need to go back".
" Yeah will leave in an hour".
And just in the moment Nial arrives infront of me..
