Chapter 53: Noisy morning

James was making his morning coffee when Mira entered the kitchen, yawning widely as though she wanted to swallow the entire kitchen. She paused when she saw him and carried on brushing her hair with her fingers, ignoring his presence. 

He said nothing as he picked up everything he needed to make her a cup of coffee. 

She silently went to sit down and got busy on her phone, not saying a word to him like she normally does. 

Anyone who knew these two would definitely know that something was up between them. And there was something wrong. After James sent Mira out of his room rudely that morning, she refused to talk to him. They also hadn't crossed paths often since he usually left for work. They were only meeting now because he had an afternoon shift today. 

James also didn't know how to raise that topic and apologize since he could not tell her why he suddenly turned into an asshole and treated her like that.
