Chapter 143: Black Cove Part 1

Calder had never been in a catacomb before, it was dark and musty and their only light source came from a magic stoned torch they retrieved back at the entrance. Sounds of dripping water and their footsteps echoed everywhere. Calder understood why they came up with their strategy before they got there however the silence was maddening.

Calder looked around to see if he could distract himself but everything was dark and dreary. All he was left with was his thoughts, he started to think of his brother how he was dragged away from the crowd. 

He originally thought it was one of Esai's pranks but he should have looked into his eyes to see the truth. He tried his best to recall his memories but somehow it seemed foggy. He couldn't remember the look on Esai's face. Calder knew he was stealing glances at Syria but not so much that he forgot about Esai.
