With a final disgusted glance in his direction, Toh took Sumire away. Lucifer wanted nothing more than to rush over and hug her, to apologize for what he just did. But, from here, he could see the bruises on her neck. The marks the other him made. 

Mirako said a few words to Slyvia and him but he wasn't paying attention. Once they left, Slyvia's infant form vanished and she turned into a full fledged adult. She walks over to him and he loses whatever strength he had and slumped to the ground, defeated.

Slyvia crouched down and caressed his cheek.

"Father, do you not remember?"

"I-"

"Father, think carefully. There is no way you don't know, if you accepted the darkness the moment you woke up in this life. You should have his memories."

"Slyvia-" Lucifer paused, seeing the tears in her eyes.
