Chapter 160: The Night Of The Ball (2)

As busy as Blake was, he still didn't have the heart to say no to his Nana when she asked him to stay for a little while longer. He would gladly spend more time with her. If it wasn't for the rest of the Costellos, he would have already taken her home with him. 

He went on talking about how things were going back in Berlin for him and Katherine while she stayed quiet. The old lady would ask him a question or two in between, and he would give her an answer patiently. 

By the time his Nana was too tired to listen to his ramblings, it was already too late—the party had begun. 

He rushed his way back to his room only to find it empty. Lillian was nowhere to be found. Neither could he see her belongings that he had placed on the bed.
