"Mr. Blake." 

As soon as Blake stepped down the last stair, a man approached him. He was holding on to two champagne flutes, one in each of his hands, as he greeted him in an overly enthusiastic manner. 

"I have been looking for you since the moment I arrived. For a moment earlier, I thought that you might not even bless us with your presence." He had a professional smile resting on his face as he began to converse with Blake. 

"I am throwing this party for my sister. How can you even think that I won't be here?" Blake smiled back at me, not holding back the mockery. 

"I know that." The man shook his head frantically when as soon as he realized the mistake he had made. "That is why I had to brush off the idea. Everyone here knows how much you love your baby sister, including me. How can you not be here!" He forced a polite smile as he stared back at Blake's expressionless face.
