So it has been five months since I began writing this novel, and here is an updated review answering some of the many questions I come across. Of course, first and foremost is the story itself: Noah Osmont is an average guy in his 20s with no superhuman brain or genius-level IQ, and he receives the gift of Infinite Mana in a world facing an apocalypse, a world that is filled with Dungeons that routinely need to be cleared or they will explode with monsters. He learns more about his gift as he starts off his adventure as a Hunter, much of his time filled with blood-pumping battles as he spams spectacular Skills on unsuspecting Dungeon Bosses. This adventure continues as he becomes stronger, learns to become smarter, and uncovers the mystery behind his Infinite Mana, as well as get tangled with the major powers of his world. This fast-paced adventure quickly moves forward as even more mysteries are unraveled- Who initiated the apocalypse on their world? How many more worlds are out there facing the same thing? Why exactly are Emperor Penguins so arrogant? Which world's cuisine is actually the best? The adventure will be long and exciting, with an ending nowhere in sight as we uncover more mysteries about the worlds around us, and the Ancient Powers that move behind the scenes... Q- Will there be a harem? A-Well, yes, a mini harem at most, with only two or at maximum three Female Leads. Q- Will the MC actually get smarter? Yes- He's a normal guy learning about everything firsthand and trying to improve, not a Webnovel reader equipped with immense knowledge of what can and should happen in the future of a story, and the exact correct ways to react to it. He will eventually become more pragmatic and careful as ruthlessness slowly see** in, without him becoming a cold-blooded murderer. Q- Just how OP will the MC become? A- Very. There is no limit to OPness Q- Anything else I should know before I start binging? A- It's a fast-paced novel with no heaven rending beauties described for an entire chapter, filled with action and powerful Skills and Abilities that only expand as time goes. Enjoy the ride, and a big thank you goes towards the readers who have supported and enjoyed the novel all this time ^.^

This is one of the best books I have read in the genre Fast paced, but without really losing out charater development. The story and world-building are excellent, though world-building is a bit limited for reasons which will become apparent in the story. One of the book’s strength is that it heavily relies on your knowledge of various myths or tropes in order to ‘color in’ the world, but you can easily and blissfully ignore that and just go with the story. The MC is definitely OP, but again, the enemies he has certainly make him work for whatever he accomplishes. Highly recommended :-)

Ima keep reading but this has been so Idiotic I had to leave a review this early. The pov is weird and sometimes feels wrong but not unreadable to me, just rly rly off putting. The issue that I had to leave a review because of, is the mc is retarded. like stupid, dumb, can’t think past what’s in front of him, contradictory, and every other word for idiotic. takes him a hot minute to realize his mana is rly rly high, but as the readers we know the title so I can let it slide. the dude wants to stay low so he gets tested and makes himself seem like a strong f-rank. Then he practically announces how strong he is by soloing two dungeons over and over then selling what he got. Something a guy who awakened as a f-rank the same day shouldn’t be able to do. He gets found out and WOW HOW DID THEY FIND ME. he’s being followed now and he knows it so what does he do? Buys a sneak skill so no one can see him enter a d-rank dungeon and solo that one over and over. Then he takes what he got, stuff obviously from that dungeon he shouldn’t be able to solo and has no record of entering with others, and sells it all. there goes secrecy. Why buy the sneak skill if you are going to make what you did with it obvious. what does he do with that money? Buy a close combat skill that only works when touching enemies. What did he do earlier in the story? Get a nice sword as a drop then sell it saying he won’t ever be close enough to use it because he is a mage not a berserker. If the pov and contradictory nature of literally every character that has appeared doesn’t go away this novel deserves nothing more than a 1 star for being unreadable. If it gets better then it’s a cool story that ima keep reading the free chapters. Not worth spending a pennie rn. This story feels like it follows a guy who couldn’t graduate middle school yet gets infinite mana and tries to hide it.

Honest Review of Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse: Wasted Potential in a Sea of Infinite Power When I first picked up Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse, I was intrigued by its premise and the promise of an overpowered protagonist navigating through a chaotic, multidimensional world. At around 1,200 chapters in, the novel had built quite a reputation for its expansive power systems and intense fight scenes. Initially, I was hooked. The action was engaging, and the progression felt satisfying. However, as I delved deeper into the story, I began to notice glaring flaws that ultimately led me to drop it. While the novel had its highlights, it also suffered from a host of issues that made the reading experience increasingly frustrating over time. The Good: Engaging Fight Scenes and Unique Concepts To start on a positive note, Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse does excel in certain areas. The fight scenes are undeniably one of the novel’s biggest strengths. The author has a knack for crafting dynamic, visually striking battles that keep readers on edge. The protagonist’s creative use of abilities and the sheer scale of destruction involved in these fights make them a spectacle to behold. For readers who enjoy action-heavy stories, this novel delivers on that front. Additionally, the novel’s premise and power systems are, at their core, intriguing. The concept of combining different genres—cultivation, magic, and apocalypse survival—was ambitious and had the potential to create something truly unique. The protagonist’s overwhelming power and the constant escalation of stakes make for an exciting start. Unfortunately, these initial strengths are overshadowed by the novel’s many flaws. The Lack of Meaningful World-Building One of the most glaring issues with Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse is its failure to fully explore its world(s). The narrative sets up a sprawling universe filled with endless possibilities, but the execution feels shallow. Instead of delving into the intricacies of its setting, the story confines itself to a single kingdom early on and treats it as if it represents the entirety of the world. Even when the protagonist ventures into other dimensions, these new realms are barely fleshed out. For a story that introduces characters capable of destroying entire worlds, the lack of depth in the world-building is particularly disappointing. The destruction of a world should feel monumental, but in this novel, it’s reduced to a footnote. The lack of emotional connection to the worlds and their inhabitants robs these moments of any real impact. It feels as though the author was more interested in showcasing the protagonist’s power than in creating a rich and immersive setting. A Repetitive and Predictable Plot Structure The plot structure of Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse quickly becomes repetitive. The protagonist starts in one realm, becomes the strongest entity there, and then moves on to the next realm to repeat the cycle. While this progression might seem logical for an overpowered protagonist, it’s executed in a way that feels formulaic and uninspired. Each new realm introduces a different power system, but these systems are rarely given the depth or explanation they deserve. Instead, the protagonist quickly masters these systems with little effort, which undermines the tension and stakes of the story. The narrative becomes a series of disconnected power-ups and battles, with little to no downtime for character development or world-building. Rushed Pacing and Lack of Emotional Depth Another major issue with the novel is its pacing. Important events and character developments are often rushed, leaving little time for readers to fully process or appreciate them. For example, the romance subplot is poorly handled. A female character is introduced within the first 200 chapters and is suddenly positioned as the protagonist’s romantic interest, despite having minimal interactions with him. Their relationship feels forced and lacks the emotional depth necessary to make it believable. Similarly, the transitions between realms and power systems are abrupt and poorly explained. The protagonist moves from a cultivation-based world to a magic-based one and then to a magus world without any real sense of cohesion. These shifts feel jarring and out of place, making it difficult for readers to stay immersed in the story. Overpowered Protagonist to a Fault While overpowered protagonists can be enjoyable when handled well, Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse takes this concept to an extreme. The protagonist’s strength grows so rapidly and so disproportionately to the challenges he faces that it becomes difficult to remain invested in his journey. The stakes feel non-existent because there’s never any real sense of danger or struggle. No matter how powerful his opponents are, the protagonist always emerges victorious with little to no effort. This lack of meaningful conflict extends to the supporting cast as well. Side characters are often reduced to mere spectators, existing only to highlight the protagonist’s superiority. They rarely contribute anything significant to the story, which makes them feel like afterthoughts rather than fully realized characters. Excessive Power Creep and Lack of Consistency Power creep is another major issue in the novel. As the protagonist gains more abilities and artifacts, the power scaling becomes increasingly absurd. At first, this escalation is exciting, but it quickly becomes overwhelming and nonsensical. The introduction of new power systems, such as cultivation and magic, feels like an attempt to keep the story fresh, but the lack of consistency in how these systems interact with one another makes them feel poorly integrated. For example, the cultivation world emphasizes resource gathering and steady progress, while the magic world focuses on spells and mana. These systems could have complemented each other, but instead, they feel like separate mechanics haphazardly thrown together. This disjointed approach makes it difficult to fully understand or appreciate the story’s mechanics. The Missed Potential of Subplots The novel introduces several subplots that could have added depth and complexity to the story, but they are rarely explored in any meaningful way. The romance subplot, as mentioned earlier, is rushed and lacks development. Political intrigue is hinted at in the early chapters but is quickly abandoned in favor of battles and power-ups. Even the overarching plot about the apocalypse feels underdeveloped. The story touches on themes of survival and destruction but fails to explore them in any depth. Instead of delving into the emotional and psychological toll of living through an apocalypse, the narrative focuses almost entirely on the protagonist’s journey to become stronger. Why I Dropped the Novel By the time I reached chapter 1,200, I realized that Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse was no longer delivering what I had hoped for. The lack of meaningful world-building, repetitive plot structure, rushed pacing, and poorly integrated power systems made it increasingly difficult to stay invested. While the fight scenes and unique concepts were highlights, they weren’t enough to make up for the novel’s many shortcomings. Final Thoughts Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse is a novel with immense potential, but its execution leaves much to be desired. For readers who enjoy action-packed stories with an overpowered protagonist, this novel might still be worth a try. However, for those who value in-depth world-building, consistent storytelling, and meaningful character development, it’s likely to be a disappointment. The novel’s strengths—its fight scenes and ambitious concepts—are overshadowed by its weaknesses. If the author had taken more time to develop the world, explore the power systems, and flesh out the characters and subplots, this could have been an incredible story. Instead, it feels like a series of missed opportunities. For me, the lack of depth and the repetitive nature of the story were deal-breakers. While I appreciate the creativity and effort that went into crafting this novel, it ultimately failed to deliver on its promise. So for the reasons listed above I have to rate 3.2/5

Total garbage. The story would be great, its a good concept. But just like the rest it has a moron for an author. Every other paragraph is foreshadowing or some nonsensical situation that has no basis in what's going on in the story. Just to make something even more stupid happen, that he then has to plot armor the MC out of. It gets especially stupid after about chapter 200, where literally every chapter is just nonsense.

I don’t usually write reviews, but after reading Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse for 22 chapters, I feel it's my duty to save you from the soul-crushing experience I’ve endured. This "novel" is the epitome of wasted potential and an exercise in mind-numbing frustration. Let’s start with the basics: the premise is nothing new, but who needs originality when you can recycle the same tired apocalypse setting and add zero personality to it? The world-building is an afterthought, and the writing is about as exciting as watching paint dry. The plot? Oh, it’s there... kind of, if you squint hard enough and ignore the fact that every chapter is basically filler. The protagonist is a walking, talking cliché who somehow manages to be completely devoid of any personality, and the rest of the characters are as memorable as a cardboard box. Now, let’s talk about the hero—or should I say, the godlike being who somehow ends up on top of the world within 22 chapters? It’s truly impressive how this protagonist speedruns the rankings, jumping straight to A-rank in a mere 0.73% of the story. I mean, why bother with gradual development, character growth, or any sort of meaningful conflict when you can just skip all that and make the character all-powerful right away? Truly a bold move. Honestly, if you ever wanted to see someone break the laws of storytelling, this is your chance. And what makes this even more fun? The main character has infinite mana. That’s right—infinite. No consequences, no limitations, no drawbacks. The hero can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, without breaking a sweat. It’s like giving someone unlimited cheat codes and then expecting us to care about any of the challenges he faces. Spoiler alert: there are none. How exciting. How riveting. I can hardly contain my enthusiasm for all the drama that’s going to unfold. (Spoiler: none.) The pacing? Oh, don’t worry, it’s not too fast. After all, what’s a mere 22 chapters of intense speedrunning through the ranks? It’s totally normal for an entire story to hinge on 0.73% of the content. Who needs to build tension or have meaningful action scenes when you can have everything handed to you on a silver platter? The action is dull, repetitive, and feels like it’s just padding for a plot that doesn’t actually exist. I know there will be some diehard fans who will tell you it "gets better later." Well, if I have to endure another 200 chapters of this same nonsense just for it to "get better," count me out. Life’s too short to waste time on this disaster. Save yourself the trouble and find something actually worth reading.

Was one of my favorite in the early chapters, but I just got tired of wasting coins… read up to chapter 748 in probably would have been only 400 chapters worth of story development. Writer puts so much fillers in chapters by either reiterate paragraphs just with different words or keeps giving skill “updates” for a minor add on that takes up almost half the chapter. Thought it would stop later on with all the complaints I started seeing in the comments, but after looking at reviews, it’s still apparently going on now that he is 3000+ chapter.

Great story and general idea. The only downside in my opinion is that this MC LOVES hiding in the shadows and not using all his power when fighting. So if you enjoy MC’s that are like this then this book is a 10/10. I personally find MCs like this cowardly and pathetic but the saving grace of this book is that the over arching story is extremely good.

truly a wonderful story worth reading, BUT Naaah man it starts getting really boring and predictable after Noah Joined the Expansive Dragon Cluster he just became like every other Mc from Chinese novels who'll go around making enemy's left and right just because, yes he has the power to do so, but there's a different between and op Mc and a brainless op Mc who'll go around and be like "who can stand in my way" " so what if they're and all mighty entity" "ancient powers who rule over trillions of powerful fighters? So what" "all I need is a few months and I'll beat them all", it seems like that Protagonist trait got to his head and changed his personality to an actual Chinese cultivation Protagonist, I didn't mind at first as I thought this will like the other times when he did this and got humbled and reminded himself to be carful, but it never happened again and we lost the Noah I liked and followed for over 700 chapters. so someone please tell me if he ever gets humbled and go back to his old ways or is he just gonna stay like this form now onward.

What is L + ratio? L + ratio is used as a mocking insult on social media, often in reply to a post or opinion considered particularly bad. The letter L is used as a slang term for loss (as in the opposite of win). The word ratio is used in its social media sense referring to a situation in which a post has a high proportion of replies compared to likes or reposts, which usually indicates a barrage of negative replies criticizing and often mocking the post.

First of all, It feels like I am reading a letter. Not a novel. There isn't much conversation as many novels do. It's like this -> I woke up. Then I went to the hunter association. there I bought a book. Then I used it. I mean no conversation. It's like someone is telling his/her history to his/her kids I just do not like this type of writing

i have only read till 1137 chapter ,this story has its own pros and cons ,the pros being that the writing quality is good but the biggest turn off for me personally is that the MC is getting everything for free and it doesn't feel like he is working for it . It just doesn't feel rewarding in a sense the character development for some characters are very good like athena but could be improved on whereas the world building is very good just repetitive. The other part that i don't like is that the story is very predictable (i liked the part where the universal realm being invaded their universe and bided his time) of course many readers will enjoy this novel so do give it a read. Author keep up the good work👍

One of the top 3 quality web novels, I strongly recommend everyone who sees this review to read this production. Character development, storytelling, plot, story depth, mental development of the main character, all perfectly crafted and a legendary production with almost no flaws.
