Chapter 6: chapter 6 eavesdropping
Bei ruolan rested her chin, she stare at the man before her. "hey rong longwei, have you ever wonder when did I fall to you?"
the man raised his head, his eyes stared on her small face. seeing her mischievous face, he was dumbstruck. "don't tell me its when we are in the academy...."
rong longwei eyes widened a bit but it returned back to normal. "so its been 9 years you have a crush on me?"
bei ruolan clicked her tongue, "your memory is quite good. I enrolled to the academy when I was 15 and now I'm 24, its almost a decade"
rong longwei was ataken back. "so why did you have never confess to me?"
"do you think I dare to? we are not close and you was engaged....." bei ruolan voice become lower and lower.
rong longwei smiled helplessly. "just because I'm engaged with somene I don't love? but aren't we together now?" his thumb gently caressed her cheek.
bei ruolan really really felt that she was lucky for being together with him. "in the future, even if you want to break up with me, don't even think of it!"
not long after she said that, both of them burst to laughter.
while in outside from the office, the atmosphere was silent as everyone do their job. however the laughter from inside of their president's office shocked them.
the voice were obviously a male and a female voice. they were suprised that their president were really close to the woman he brought in.
bei ruolan need to meet her new manager and told the man that she want to meet her manager.
the president office were opened. bei ruolan and rong longwei appeared on the doorway and they walked to the private elevator.
"will he really accept me?" bei ruolan raised her head and look at the man.
"he will. take care" rong longwei pushed the button and the private elevator door was opened. he kissed her forehead and smiled to her.
bei ruolan give a peck on his cheek before entering the elevator. the door were closed and rong longwei looked at the elevator before walking towards his office.
yang guchen silently followed after him and both of them dissapered to the office.
while bei ruolan stopped on the 30th floor where her new manager office is. she knocked on his door and entered after someone told her to come in.
the office was large and a tall man was sitting on his chair, looking on a document as he scribbled some words.
his head raised when the door were opened and closed.
"miss bei?"
"yes, that's me. president rong told me to come to you" bei ruolan atood before his desk and bowed down.
xi xiaodan eyes that were covered by her frame glasses examined the beautiful woman. "sit down first. he told me you terminated your contract with your previous company. may I ask why did you didn't stay there?"
bei ruolan sat down on the chair and gently answered. "shadow entertainment may be a large company but their president also have a large appetite. recently, many low graded artiste under them raised overnight. that bast*rd slept with them and they become their mistress. he had once told me to become his mistress but I rejected so all of my resources, manager and even assistant were take away by him. I was trampled there. I know rong longwei and I requested for him to help me"
Xi xiaodan lips curled to a faint smile, "why didn't you just accept his request?"
bei ruolan let out a sinister laugh. "oh please, do you think I want to sleep with him? I'm not that low to be a mistress of someone that was poor than me"
her words were indeed true. the bei family was obviously above shadow entertainment president.
Xi xiaodan then stood up, "I'm sure you won't regret you choosing this company" he extended his arm for a handshake.
bei ruolan stood up as well and accepted his hand. "so I will call you...."
"just bro Xiaodan or bro Xiao" Xi xiaodan cold facade removed and he answered casually.
"bro xiao, I heard you have another artist under you"
xi xiaodan handsome face turned disgusted. "sun xiaji don't think I don't know you are eavesdropping!"
a second after that, the door was slammed opened and a man wearing black top and a pair of ripped jeans appeared. his angry eyes widened when he saw the woman standing, looking at him.
"damn it! xiao ruo, its you!"
