Chapter 41: Revenge

"Don't you dare move an inch unless I say so, if you don't want me to pull the trigger." She whispered softly to Lucy's ear as if what she was saying was sweet words and not death threats. "I bet you you will not want to see the floor ruined by your own blood once I splatter your brain using this gun." She added in the most chilling voice she could muster.

Xia stared at Lucy with unsurpassed hatred.  She want to pull the trigger and kill her in an instant but doing it will make her no different from the the criminal standing in front of her. She try to get hold of her emotion,  never letting it overcome her brain or else,  Lucy will never see the dawn of the day once she loose her self control and pull the trigger.

Lucy's frightened eyes stared back at the cold eyes looking at her.  The look of disbelief showed on her face. It seems she could not believe that the woman she thought she successfully killed was standing in front and aiming a pistol into her head.
