"The next time we attend another wedding like this together, I promise that I will be sitting next to you, not just your friend but finally, your groom."  He muttered in a soft sincere voice full of promise.

With surprise written all over her face, Xia slowly lifted her chin to look directly at Zachary Benedict's face. He was looking at her intently that she felt she could melt by how intense it was.

She was expecting him to be joking with a smile upon his handsome face but what she witnessed failed her expectation. When her eyes landed on him, he was serious as hell as if he just let go of a promise he wish to fulfill no matter what happens.
