Chapter 108: The Contract

With their unknown power, they created another reality that is separated from Earth and they call it; Gantlet, the World of Trials.

In the Contract, the first rule says: Wars are forbidden.

It was vague. Murder still happens, however, the other races expected it to turn into a war so it decreased. They are intelligent after all and they knew that violence only causes more violence. Only Humanity was so emotional that they cannot stop thinking about revenge but in front of the other races, we can only swallow back our grief.

Hell God of Souls, Felux, our God... Is this your foresight? We are still driven by revenge. It makes us stronger as it hurts us. But because of fear and anxiety, we avoid the pointless death by going in blind with emotions.

You created us to live in pain. I now understand how the weak can destroy the strong. But is it enough?
