When she noticed Elina was not listening to her, Nyx walked towards her. She held her shoulders and said comforting words to her.

"What happened? Why are you so sad? Cheer up! Your father will get well soon. Also, we can stay here tonight. That's what I came to tell you earlier but got disturbed by that jerk. Stop worrying so much and think about the baby in your tummy," Nyx said.

"I am fine. Thank you for letting me be here with my father tonight," Elina said without removing her eyes from Aiden's figure below the hospital building.

"No need to thank me. If you want to say thanks to someone, then you should tell that to J. She was the one who called me and informed me of this plan. Since there won't be anyone troubling us from the Golden poison, it's safe for now. Not only tonight but we can stay here as long as you want." Nyx informed her.

Instead of expecting any reply from her, Nyx once again started to prattle on and on.
