Janus's lips opened slightly as he took off his fingers. He hadn't expected this to happen, but now that it had, he was sweating as to how he could handle it. 

Ryder slowly opened his eyes as a serene look shrouded his face as if he was above all the worldly matters. 

"Janus, can I ask what you were trying to do right now?" Ryder said softly, but his voice seemed slightly different. It didn't seem like the voice of Ryder. Instead, it seemed like the voice of a higher being that was filled with some strange power.
