"How long will the flight take?" Peter asked.

"A bit more than an hour I think" Harry responded.

"Where are we going after we land?" Gwen asked.

"We will go to the hotel Harry usually goes to when he has meetings in Washington. We will leave our suitcases there and go out to a restaurant right after."

"Good plan. I hope the hotel is not that expensive"

"Don't worry, the company is going to pay for everything" Harry said. "You are going to be my 'assistants', but don't have to do any of the work".

"Great!"

After a few minutes of silence, Harry asked...

"What you guys think of superheroes?"

Harry knew that Peter was very interested in Gwen's opinion, especially about the actions of Spider-Man.

"It's a difficult question... I mean I love superheroes, they do their best save us and saved millions of innocent people from villains. But..." Gwen said.

"But?" Harry asked.

"I don't know if I should say that because it's not a very popular opinion... I think that superheroes are very dangerous."

"They can be potentially dangerous" Peter said.

"Yeah, we put so much pressure on them. People always critic them for being guilty of thousands of deaths, but they don't realize that if someone of the superheroes goes on the side of the villains, there will be a big danger for everyone. Can you just imagine a villain with powers of Iron Man?" Gwen added.

"Yeah, he would be extremely dangerous. I think that intelligent villains are the most dangerous." Peter said.

"But what if we exclude the possibility of heroes turning the 'dark side', what do you think of them in general?" Harry asked.

"I think that they bring more benefits to society. Lots of kids and teenagers view someone like Steve Rogers or Tony Stark as their role models. However, I think that some of the heroes are too violent."

"I think that being violent to criminals is not a bad thing, to be honest" Harry said. "The only they do is frighten peaceful citizens and kill innocent people".

"I agree, but some people deserve a second chance. I think that killing criminals is inhumane. How can these superheroes stay calm after killing so many people?"

"I am sorry Gwen, but I would disagree with you. Most of the criminals don't deserve a second chance at all. Think about Captain America, he killed thousands of the nazis but people still remember him as a hero, he killed them to help his army win a war. Do you think they deserved a second chance?" Harry said.

"That case is an exception. I was talking about superheroes nowadays. I regularly read the news about criminals being found dead or seriously injured by them and it makes me think negatively about them. Even if these people are guilty, killing them is a lynching" Gwen responded.

"I agree with you. I was also thinking about this and understood that only a few criminals deserve a death penalty, while others should be given a second chance. But I believe that injuring criminals might be the right thing for superheroes to do, as it will become very unlikely for criminals to continue their activities" Peter said.

"Who is your favorite superhero?" Harry asked. "I like Iron Man and Spider-Man the most".

"I like Iron Man as well, he has one of the best interactions with the public. I was shocked when Tony Stark opened his<span style="font-size: 1.0625rem; letter-spacing: 0px;"> alter ego to everyone at a press conference."</span>

"What about you, Peter?"

"I like all of the superheroes, to be honest. They have always been my idols, I think that being able to help others and protecting the weak is a noble cause and a very difficult thing to do."

"Didn't you tell me to say you like Spider-Man the most?" Harry asked before winking.

"True, I completely forgot about him. I like his image in general, people seem to like him as well. He is one of the few who fights against small criminals".

"Gwen, what you think about Spider-Man?" Harry asked.

"I think that he's a sort of a new star. He appeared less than half a year ago and most of the citizens already know about him. I've read lots of articles about him and watched several videos. But I don't get one thing about him..."

Peter understood that the articles she read were 99% from Daily Bugle, as they had exclusive photos and were the most popular.

"Which thing?" Peter asked.

"Even though he killed small criminals and injured most of them, almost all of the citizens think of him positively which is not normally the case"

"Maybe people just think that what he is doing is right" Peter said.

"I don't think so... It's just very weird that I have never seen a single negative article about him from any major newspaper. I am sure that he has contacts with people from mass media who are responsible for his image. This is very smart, he cares about his reputation" Gwen said.

Peter was surprised... he didn't expect her to find this out. But there is no way she expects that superhero workes for Daily Bugle himself, writes articles, and takes images on his own without any help.
