Chapter 40: Her Hand Moved
when steve was bored staying in lyra's room he used to check some information and was checking the updates of business.
steve was waiting for lyra to wake up it has already been 10 days but lyra was not waking up,
steve went and sat on a chair beside her , her face was now a bit fair , there were some little marks and her bandages have been removed , but only her ribs didn't heal yet .
mark said it would at least take a month to heal but since lyra was weak , it should take more time.
steve took lyra's wedding ring from his pocket and was looking at her , it was uncomfortable for her to wear it since she had bandages all over her hand , but now she could wear it , when steve put on the ring to her hand the other day , it was so loose that it might fall of if she just put her hands down, so steve removed it.
while staring at her thin hands , steve suddenly noticed that lyra's hand moved.
he was not sure weather he saw correctly , so he looked at her hand again, but it didn't move, he thought it was his illusion , so he was just about to turn away, her hand moved again.
steve didn't know what to do her hand really moved, what should he do?, he should call mark , but there will be no one to look after lyra what if some thing happens?.
steve was getting tensed , when he saw lyra , her brows were twiching, he called out " lyra , lyra are you okay?are you feeling hurt some where ? lyra?".
lyra was not able to open her eyes but she heard someone calling her, she tried to open her eyes but she was feeling her eyelids heavy after trying for sometime , she was able to open her eyes, some one was calling her , it was blurred image, but slowly she was able to see who it was, it was steve , why was she here? the last thing she remembered was she was going to the cubs , but she couldn't walk any more so she fainted.
but this is not the garden where is she?, she was not able to move her body, what happened?
yes sophia was beating her, is sophia here? , lyra was thinking , while steve was asking " can you see me ? lyra ? are you okay?".
