Chapter 8: : I Think I Know Who
Amy went to the studio early morning to explain her plan to Gabby and how he could be any of help
"This is the only way I could think of" Amy said after explaining it to Gabby
"It is actually not bad, at least it could regain yourself a little" Gabby analyzed Amy's plan in his mind
He helped her search all of the orphanages in the whole city and there are only about 10. Since this orphanages are very far apart from each other, Amy will take days to go to all of them so he asked his friend Gale to give her a ride and the charge will be on him
Amy had also connected her phone to the studio's internet connection and saw there was a message sent to her new account from an unknown person
"I hope this will help" the message comes with two clear pictures of her DNA test from before with Carol and her sister's original birth certificate
Amy showed the pictures to Gabby
"Who could have sent that to you from your house?" Gabby asked confusedly
"I think I know who" Amy smiled warmly while looking at the message
The pictures are not enough proof so she still need to go to all of the orphanages to see if there was a record of her being an orphan and being adopted

Amy had a list of the 10 orphanages and Gale is already taking her to the nearest one
3 hours had passed after they were finished with looking at the records of the orphanages and she still have time to go to another place and record her video about what she found

12pm
Amy is back at the studio and asked for a room she could record in. She had already brought all her equipment since this morning and left it in Gabby's office. She also decided to put a wig that will match her old hair since she does not want anyone to know about her new hair yet. She thinks it might cause another issue when she revealed her reddish hair
"Hello everyone! It's Amy again. I see that everyone has been talking about me lately?" Amy started cheerfully as always. Her video right now is streaming live and once people saw this they left comments immediately after her intro
"How could we not? You're a funny joke!"
"Ohh it's Amy! Is she going to explain another lie?"
Amy saw these comments and replied to them straightforwardly through the camera
"Oh I am the joke? I want to see you guys laugh again at me after this live stream as I, Amy Mills, will actually explain another lie.." Amy paused for a moment to see other's comments
"Everyone you heard her she will be lying again!"
".. that Carol Mills had told" Amy continued
Did she just said she will explain Carol's lies? How?
Amy showed to the camera the list of all the orphanages that was in town
"These are the names of the orphanages here in the city, want to know where 'I used to be'?" Amy connected her phone to her laptop so the screen of her phone will be seen by everyone who is watching her live stream
"No where! Because I was not adopted ever since I was born!" Amy said firmly
She removed her phone's screen on the stream so everyone can see her face "I know what you are all thinking, 'Amy this are just in town, what if you are in an orphanage somewhere else?' Or maybe you are wondering 'You could have not been in any orphanage, you might have been just left somewhere and the Mills took you' or maybe 'You might have a different name in the orphanage you just don't know about' Guys I am telling you all to not believe anything from my old mother and sister because here is my DNA test with Carol Mills to prove I am her child" Amy once again showed her phone's screen to show the clear photo of her DNA test
After a minute, she removed again her phone "Still not convinced? Then I demand another DNA test with Mrs. Carol Mills, if you deny then you are not willing for everyone to know that you have lied about me being adopted. Come on, mother, is this how you treat your only daughter?" Amy emphasized the word 'mother' to really challenge Carol. If Carol did deny to take a DNA test with Amy then everyone will suspect she is indeed hiding the truth
"Another thing everyone please look at this video" Amy connected her phone for the last time to let everyone see the video she took from the hospital with the doctor's permission
In the video, only a doctor can be seen but the female voice was obviously Amy's
"Dr. Lin, how are you?" Amy started the conversation
"I'm fine miss Amy, what can I do for you today?" The doctor asked
"I just want to ask about my brother's surgery with you. Are you proud of it?"
"Why of course! I never thought I could make him look like you to be your sister"
"Yes, it is wonderful. You could never tell she was a boy" the two laughed as they continued their conversation
"But Dr. Lin, are you aware that Ally was not acknowledging you for your work? I mean, you worked so hard to change her face and body but never had any credit"
"It's fine, I'm used to it, people are just embarrassed to tell they undergo an appearance change" Dr. Lin explained "May I please see a record of the before and after the surgery of Ally?" Amy asked for the main reason she was there "Of course, here it is" Dr. Lin gave her a folder he took out from his drawer
Amy opened the folder making sure the camera can see it. On the left side there is a picture of a young man with the word 'Before' written under it's picture and on the right there is now a picture of a woman with the word 'After' written at the bottom. The picture of the woman looked exactly like Ally and side by side with the man's picture, there are features that are similar to it
The video was freeze to that picture so everyone can have a closer look
All the viewers were too shock of what they are seeing and had not been commenting the whole time. They just went back to their senses when Amy ended her live stream there
