Chapter 99: Final Mission Part-1
Once I saw that the anbu got the traitor and the scroll back to hokage-sama, I got back to my home. it is now time to leave the Anbu after all.
The next day hokage-sama ordered his anbu to bring me to his office. once I reached his office he said," ah, Saito-kun, good morning, how is your morning going?"
"it's going just fine hokage-sama. what can I do for you?" I asked while looking respectful while cursing the old man for calling me this early in the morning in my head.
" Your time alongside your friends in the anbu is coming to an end and I want you to do one last mission before leaving Anbu."
" I will do it. I was getting bored anyway so why not take the mission."
"this will be a very difficult mission though it is recon at core. I will once again ask you, are you sure you want to go on this mission."
"I am sure hokage-sama, I am a shinobi not a civilian. those who can't take risk die early and those who enjoys going in danger dies even early. And I already embraced death the day I became shinobi and if this mission can help konoha then I will die smiling." I said while showing my new jutsu Fake Will of Fire no jutsu.
On the other hand I was thinking, ' what can a measly mission do to great me. I can destroy this whole world with a sneeze easily.'
Then the old man made some sign and all the anbu in the office left the office while the seal of silence came into being on the door and window.
"the mission I am giving you can be considered from A-rank to S-rank to even State level(basically SSS-rank) mission.
We are holding the chunin exams in our village this time."
I nodded at that and he continued," many of our allies would enter this time but the problem is that our fire daimyo recommended a hidden village which we never knew even existed. The village is called Sound village.
I wanted to send jiraya first but he is busy on another assignment for at least 3 months.
I want you to go in that village and get any and all information you can. from severage to who are their highest level personnel.
we only know that it is in the south of Rice country near the brown rice village. you are to leave for this mission in 2 days and the deadline is 2 months. Now you may leave."
then I left the hokage tower while thinking about orochimaru and sound village.
soon I reach my home and told the girls about my mission. They did exactly what I thought and asked me that could they come with me. I rejected them knowing that they only wanted to come in order to have some fun while increasing my work.
Then I went to the academy and saw the legendary scene of naruto and sasuke having their first kiss...er not so first as naruto had his first with sakura from what he told me last time he came home.
This all happened due to kiba as when naruto was running towards sasuke he pushed naruto a bit making him fall on sasuke while taking his first kiss.
Then came the entry of Ino and some unknown girl who started shouting at naruto who was still quite disturbed. he just ignored them and sat at the back bench. The rest went like how it did in the canon.
After two days
Right now I am standing at the village gate where the girls are waving at me as I start my travel to Rice country.
