Chapter 74: Aftermath
After the test our sensei got embraced by lady darkness and we had to deliver him to the hospital.
Kageyama POV
when I opened my eyes I saw a roof which I was oh too familiar with in my youth. The cursed roof called hospital's roof.
I then looked around and saw my new students sitting around chatting with each other. then they saw that I became conscious and asked," you alright sensei. I thought you were a goner." the boy truly have a lot of cheek but the kid's got talent.
"yeah, I don't know how I am still alive. I told you to come at me as if to kill me but I didn't think you would take that joke literally, how the hell were you able to make such traps, it was like you k we where I was about to go?!" I asked how they were able to trap me continuously.
"actually, the whole field was a giant trap, no matter where you go, where you hide and even if you stayed in the air. we had everything covered and be assured that we made I as non-threatening as we could and if we were to make the stronger ones then you wouldn't even be able yo get to the hospital with or without any help. Well, it was fun though." The damn kid had guts, but his guts are frightening me. oh god, hokage-Sama what kind of monster did you gave me to raise.
Well leaving all that I need to meet with hokage-sama as fast as possible and tell him that my team passed. oh, how strong would these brays become in the future when even at this age they might be stronger than chunins though I was only able to get a gist of how strong they truly are. This time I ain't letting any of the brats die. unlike those....
After chatting a bit with the kids I got the green signal from the staff to leave the hospital and I took it at face value.
I quickly went to the hokage tower to meet with the hokage-sama. He wasn't in any meeting so the receptionist sent me to meet him as soon as I asked.
"Hokage-sama, I took the test as you asked without becoming biased and the kids..." I left him waiting to add dramatics as no dramatics no life. that's my motto.
"What happened to the kids?! Are they alright? Did they all pass?!" he asked me as if he was the judge of rapid fire questions.
"yeah,yeah, they all pass and no one except me was injured. I underestimated them a bit and had to go greet the nurses of the hospital and I even got invited by lady darkness for some tea and snacks which I gladly accepted lest I had to go through a world of pain." I said swinging my arms adding dramatics.
He sighed and asked," so what did happen to make you visit the hospital as I don't think that four eight-year old kids defeated you".and when he looked at my embarrassed expression he asked," or did I truly happened?! tell me all the details.
When I told him all the details let's say his jaw reached the floor and opened so wide that honey bees could even make their beehives within it.
"so you are telling me that eight year old kids made various traps with high level fuinjutsu in the whole field and it reached such a high level that you had to go all out and even then you were defeated and the kids know B to A-rank jutsus. if I heard it from someone else, I would have sent him to the mental department of hospital but I believe and I do know that Saito is also a quarter uzumaki so it is possible for him to be very proficient in fuinjutsu if he got uzumaki's scrolls. But I didn't thought he was already at such a high level. And the others also have a lot of talent. Make sure they remain loyal and you may let them first take a few D-rank mission before taking C and B-ranked missions. Now you are dismissed.
After that I left the tower and went to the kids and told them from tomorrow onwards we will go for a few d-ranked missions and the rest of the time we will train.
