Chapter 59: TALK WITH HIRUZEN
After leaving the academy an anbu member came and asked me to follow him to the hokage.he shunshined along side me to hokage's office.
"ah, you are here, I heard you have made some friends Saito. so how's school going?" hokage asked me.
"hmm, I made two new friends and the school was interesting except the history part, no offense. I even signed for extra classes. fuinjutsu and kenjutsu to be precise." I said.
"hmm, extra classes, not many take these classes nowadays as most people have forgotten the potential and applications of fuinjutsu, kenjutsu, sensory Jutsus, bojutsu, trapping skills etc. even I used to participate in bojutsu classes. but nowadays most if not all cares for ninjutsu only. you made a great choice Saito. you will no doubt become great one day." he said.
" yeah, I want to become strong and be respected so that I can achieve my goal." I said giving him the bait.
" then may I ask, what is your goal?" he asked while smiling a bit, 'hook.'
" My goal is to achieve peace. Make this world a peaceful place for the coming generation. And to get strong enough to protect those who are precious to me "
I said.
"peace, huh... that was once my ideal as well and my disciple is still striving for that. Do you think you will be able to carry that burden?" he asked seriously. 'line'
" yes, I am thinking to take promotion exams after 6 months because only at that time they take that exams. I already learnt a few jutsu, kenjutsu and a bit of taijutsu from the scrolls left by my parents. Though it will take a lot of time even with my reserves which are very large for a kid my age due to me being a quarter uzumaki and now with extra classes it might be difficult for me to pass those exams ." I said
"uzumaki...but how, weren't you from the terumi clan which specializes in either lava or boil release?" he asked. 'and sinker'
"yes, but my grandmother on my father's side was an uzumaki and this is the reason for my reserves being higher than even most chunins." I said the lie clearly while making it look like I had chakra nearing a Jonin as I already know that the old man will check this with some sensor type ninja later.
"hmm, do you want to learn more in little time even if it means it might risk your life?" he asked.
" if it means that I will be able to protect my loved ones then I am ready to risk my life at any time of the day." I said.
"hoho, you young blood sure have a bright will of fire in you nowadays. here take this." he said while giving me a scroll.
"um, what is this?" I asked while looking at the scroll.
"this is the scroll for shadow clone jutsu, a B-rank jutsu created by my sensei. it requires high amount of chakra to create a solid clone whose memory you gain after it is dispelled either willingly or forcibly. Use this well and make sure to achieve your goal." he said.
"thank you, lord hokage, it is a great deal of honour for me that you are helping me to push me forward towards my goal. I will surely meet your expectation" I said and put the scroll in the under pocket.
"oh, before you go take this key" he said and threw the key towards me. looking at my confused face he said," I heard that you are friends with the 2 girls who came with you." I nodded at that.
"then it won't be a problem if you shared an apartment with those two, right?" he asked me and I said," um, it won't be a problem as we have slept together many times in the orphanage." I said and bowed towards him before leaving his office.
while walking down the road I thought,' hehe, I got to sleep under the same roof with the girls for the forsseable future which was actually unexpected as I thought we would all be given separate apartment. maybe he is thinking to get me close to the girls and make me create a clan in the konoha so that using CRA I will be able to marry them and the village will get my bloodline. Whereas getting the Shadow clone jutsu wasn't difficult. just some will of fire and poof I got the jutsu.'
