Chapter 48: Beast Village
After eating the breakfast we left the inn to explore the village. While we were exploring the village we went to various shops AMD they sure have some weird things like when we went to kid's shop we only saw toys related to beasts. There was no cute animal or such which I could gift the girls. Later we went to a show where only shows based on beasts were available.
Children weren't given swords for practices but wooden claws. Everything was creepy. Creepy designs on clothes, buildings and even creepy decoration pieces.
I felt that something was wrong with this village, something very very wrong and it was a shared feeling with the girls as they said the same thing that," ne, James, I am feeling ominous aura around whole village, it is as if the villagers are doing predetermined actions and saying predetermined dialogues. It feels like they are some high level Golems" Saya said.
"un, I too am feeling this weird aura around the people and all are acting weird like... yeah, see that place, it's a temple to worship beasts. And as long as I remember humans usually pray to God, not beasts" Shinobu added as well.
"Yeah, we should check the village further" I said as we started to roam around the village again.
Now it was evening as we could clearly see the sunset and the moon rising. After an hour of searching it was already night. The Moon was high up. I soon started to smell dead bodies and that too in a very large number. It was as if the whole village was dead.
I soon blocked my nose and used NULL MAGIC:AIR CLEARENCE and cleared the air around here. just when I did it I started hearing evil laughter like Orochimaru's kukukuku.
" I never thought that you would be able to kill Bozumaru. But fear not I shall have revenge for his death. He was a dear friend of mine who was going to come back yesterday evening. But when I saw you all coming I knew something wasn't right and sent my slaves to check out only to find nothing which lead me to the conclusion of his death.

Their were all kinds of beasts and animals with their claws as sharp as they could ever be. Their fangs ready to claw on our skin.
When I saw all that I thought to create barrier around the girls while I kill the Demon which would maybe free these villagers.
As if knowing what I was thinking the Demon spoke up," If you are thinking that if you are able to kill me then these villagers will be set free. Hahaha, then you are wrong on three accounts.
1) You will never kill me because you cannot reach me as they do not feel pain and would do anything to kill you.
2) If I was to die they will become mindless beasts with only destruction and chaos in mind.
3) You are going to die.
