Chapter 46: First Mission part 2
Saya POV
She quickly used Light Magic to heal her wound on the shoulder. After it healed up she took a deep breath before saying,"Total Concentration Breath Third Form: Flowing dance" She took the stance and ran towards the demon in such a way that it looked like Water was oozing from the Sword and she was able to cut it's head clean in the process killing it.
Meanwhile on the other hand After the head took on Saya, Shinobu started fighting the 3 remaining demons.
In the process of fighting them she left small cuts in each the demon though they were too small to have a very large effect. But still all these demon started to become slower and weaker. Just when she was about to attack the smaller one. She was punched in the gut by the Fatter one but she was able to make a large cut near it's chest.
She flew directly to a wall and was able to stand up. The fat demon died due to poisoning. The other demons were frightened watching that. After seeing only 2 demons were left Shinobu thought to take them down in a single go.
" Dance of the Dragonfly: Compound Eye Hexagon (蜻せい蛉れいノ舞まい複ふく眼がん六ろっ角かく, Seirei no mai: Fukugan rokkaku?)- Six strikes to each demons weak spot and both of them were laying dead. just as she looked towards Saya, she saw Saya taking down her demon as well.
" Are you alright Shi-Chan?" She asked.
" Just a bit of scratch. nothing big." Shinobu replied after which Saya came in fro t of her and healed Saya up.
"Let's go back to James." Saya said as both of them went to the entrance of the cave.
James POV
Just as the two entered the Cave he turned back and saw a demon of 6 ft with his hands turned black as 2 red balls of energy were ready to attack him.
" Let's end this fast, I am bored right now" I said and he replied with a "Sure thing". I unsheathed my sword and took a stance.
"First Form: Thunderclap and Flash (壱いちノ型かた霹へき靂れき一いっ閃せん, Ichi no kata: Hekireki Issen?)" I said and leapt at him as he jumped toward me as well.
We were standing on each other's back with a distance of about 10 meters. After a few seconds he became ashes while nothing happened to me.
" Well, that was anti climatic" I said in a bored tone.
Then I wemt towards the entrance and waited for around 5 minutes then I saw both of girls coming out of the cave.
"Let's go find some place to stay in the village. Tomorrow the crows will come to give us another mission most probably" I said as I took my off roader from the inventory and we went towards the village near this mountain to find a place to stay the night.
While driving I asked Shinobu," Do we get salary or any money for slaying demons?" I asked.
" No, we don't usually get money off it but I think Hashira's do get it." She said. After that I started devicing future plans for our little group.
