Chapter 45: First Mission
After we checked our sword three crows came in and before they gave us mission I spoke," Hey crows, Shinobu, Saya and I are in a team so give us a suitable mission"
it *caw**caw**caw* before speaking," You are registered as a team. your mission is to take down a den of Demons in the Southern area of Shiho village" *caw**caw* and it flew up.
After that I started packing everyone's ( Shinobu, Saya and mine) possessions though Shinobu had it all packed. I used inventory to put them all in it.
Then we went towards the location given by the crow. We reached the location in 5 days as I created an off roader in black through the use of NULL MAGIC : ALL NULL- CREATION and created it. The journey was worth the effort as in order to create something as complex as an off roader fueled by Mana, I had to properly imagine each and everypart of the design.
The location was a mountain near some no name town. When I checked with my Magic sensing I sensed 5 demons in a cave. I was skeptical at first as demons don't band together but later I sensed another demon who was almost as strong as a lower moon entering my area of sensing which was quite wide if I wanted but right now I was using a nerfed up version . Then I thought that he might be banding them together for something.
When we reached the foot of the mountain I stored the off roader in the inventory and we went towards the cave where I sensed those demons.
While we were walking towards the location I said," Listen carefully, There are 6 demons in total out of which 4 are normal and 1 seems to be a special type. The last one is nearly as strong as a lower moon and I will deal with that, alright."
Both of them nodded seriously then Saya said to shinobu," I will deal with that special one while you take Care of the other 4. Can you do that?"
" Of course I can but I too wanted to deal with a special demon" Shinobu said.
" Then, how about the next time we come across a Blood Art Demon. You will deal with it, OK" Saya gave her this idea to which Shinobu nodded happily.
" We will reach the cave in 2 minutes while my target will come in around 15-20 minutes. I am giving you this time to take care of all those demons inside the cave" I said and both hummed at the same time seriously.
" Looks like we are at the destination. I will stay here on the lookout and when that demon comes, I will deal with it." I said.
" Don't worry about us, we will come in a bit and take care of the trash inside." Saya said and marched inside the Cave.
Saya POV
After I went inside the cave it started lifting itself. This gave both Shinobu and me goosebumps.
" Look what do we have here. Food came to us on it's own. We don't even need to hunt now as we get to eat such tender meat. *Slurp*" He licked his tongue while saying that increasing the creepiness
" Kekeke we will have a feast tonight if the boss come with lot's of food and they will be our desert as tender meat always tends to be sweet" Another spoke up.
" What are we waiting for then let's catch us our dessert." A tall one spoke as he went to attack Shinobu. He thought it would be easy to take out a kid and let his guard down which resulted in *Cling* Shinobu took her sword out of sheath just as the demon jumped to catch her and sliced it's neck killing it.
"Wha- What the hell did just happen?" A fat demon spoke.
" Looks like they are those demon slayers. Even if they are just kids don't let your guard down." The first one spoke who looked like the head of this group.
After saying that he charged at Saya while his hands turned into red swords and he tried to kill her.
Saya dodged his attack then parried it with her own sword. They were exchanging attacks at a fast rate with the demon having the upper hand due to higher strength and from the looks of it her sword won't affect it's blood demon arts which was his hands turned swords.
After a bit she was able to cut his one arm by ducking underneath but she didn't thought that he was able to turn his legs into swords as well, this resulted in a deep gash on her shoulder.
