Chapter 38: TOTAL CONCENTRATION BREATHING
After my morning exercise Saya came out and said," Good Morning" " Good morning" I replied after which we had breakfast.
After breakfast I confronted Saya and told her that the old man is a master Swordsman and he readily accepted to be our Master, she jumped with joy at that.
Then suddenly Master Sakonji came behind us and said, " get ready I will spar with both of you to check how far you have come along on the road of Swordsmanship." Then we followed him to the backyard where he threw both of us 2 wooden swords and said," Attack me" Saya went first as she attacked by swinging her sword diagonally attacking Master who easily parried her and her sword went flying.
" Well that was anti climatic" I said knowing that her swordsmanship skills were only on Beginner level.
Then I attacked him which he parried but was overwhelmed by my strength. We exchanged many hits after which he started gaining upper hand due to his higher understanding in the path of swordsmanship.
After a few minutes my sword went flying as well.
" Your skills are nearly as high as Hashira in training but I can still help you in that." then he looked towards Saya and said," Your skills are not that bad, it won't take that much time to be able to reach Demon slayer level." he said.
" Now I will teach you Breathing style called Total concentration breathing style.The user can increase the amount of oxygen in one's blood by controlling their breathing pattern. Doing this increases his strength and agility.
It has 10 forms, look carefully then he performed the styles sequence vise.
First Form: Water Surface Slash (壱いちノ型かた水みな面も斬ぎり, Ichi no kata: Minamo giri?)- The swordsman generates enough momentum to create a powerful single concentrated slash.
Second Form: Water Wheel (弐にノ型かた水みず車ぐるま, Ni no kata: Mizu guruma?) - The swordsman leaps and vertically spins forward in the air while releasing a flowing attack in a circular motion.
Third Form: Flowing Dance (参さんノ型かた流りゅう流りゅう舞まい, San no kata: Ryūryū mai?) - The swordsman swings his blade at his opponent in a way that mimics the movement of waves on the surface of water.
Fourth Form: Striking Tide (肆しノ型かた打うち潮しお, Shi no kata: Uchishio?) - The swordsman makes multiple consecutive slashes while twisting their body in a flowing fashion similar to a harsh tide.
Fifth Form: Blessed Rain After the Drought (伍ごノ型かた干かん天てんの慈じ雨う, Go no kata: Kanten no jiu?)- A "sword strike of kindness" that kills the target with little to no pain. Used when the enemy surrenders.
Sixth Form: Whirlpool (陸ろくノ型かた ねじれ渦うず,Roku no kata: Nejire uzu?)- The swordsman fiercely twists his upper and lower body, creating a whirlpool that cuts anything caught in it.
Seventh Form: Drop Ripple Thrust Curve (漆しちノ型かた雫しずく波は紋もん突づき, Shichi no kata: Shizuku wa Mondzuki?)-(Drop Ripple in English Dub) A fast and accurate stab. The fastest Breath of Water technique.
Eighth Form: Waterfall Basin (捌はちノ型かた滝たき壷つぼ, Hachi no kata: Takitsubo?) - The swordsman cuts the target vertically.
Ninth Form: Splashing Water Flow - Turbulent (玖くノ型かた水すい流りゅう飛沫しぶき, Ku no kata: Suiryū shibuki?) Minimizes the landing time and surface needed when landing, allowing the user to move without limits. Ideal when fighting in a place with no solid foothold.
Tenth Form: Constant Flux (拾じゅうノ型かた生せい生せい流る転てん, Jū no kata: Seisei ruten?) - A continuous attack that increases in power with each rotation, creating a strong slash.
I saw all those Technique while using NULL MAGIC: ANALYZE, NULL MAGIC:MIND MANUPILATION and after watching all that I used NULL MAGIC: PHOTO MEMORY and some more to create a Book designed on Total Concentration Breathing.
