Chapter 37: DEMON SLAYER
After talking with Saya I went to my room to prepare things for the trip. After a few hours of packing main things I called Mother and told them that I won't be able to contact them for a few years as I would be gone to another continent with no way of contacting them.
They sounded sad that I won't be able to contact them for few years but let the matter rest. I then went outside and went to meet the Mayor and told him of Saya and my future absence. I had to inform him as Master registered me as this village's Guest residence.
After that 1 Week went by in no time. When the time came Saya and I went outside the village and I told her I would be creating a portal to another continent which could be anything. I didn't told her about the world travel yet.
After a few seconds a black portal came into existence in front of us. I took her hand and lead her to the entrance.
" Let's go." I said and she nodded and we both went inside the portal. Once I opened my eyes I was standing in front of the God.
" You finally came. No need to worry about the girl. She is in suspended space and time. Let's
get your lottery. Here's the Gacha. You can use it now."
I spin the Gacha and checked the rewards.

After a bit I reached ground and saw Saya was standing in front of me.
" Let's go find some human settlement to get more knowledge of this place." I told her and we went to find some settlement after about an hour of walking we came in front of an old wooden house on the back of a mountain.
" Jamie, are you sure that we are in another continent altogether because I think this place is Eashen with how the house and the surrounding looks." She said
" Well first let's check the house, then we will ask the owner about these question but with subtility." she nodded at that.
Then we knocked the door and an old man wearing a full face tengu mask came in front of us and said," What do you brats want"
" umm, Where is this place sir." Saya asked politely to him.
" This is nowhere. It is a place between villages. Do you 2 have a place to stay?" he asked the last part with a bit of concern.
" We don't have a place to stay for now" I said taking the conversation from Saya. If I remember correctly he is Sakonji Urokodaki, the former water hashira and mentor to the present Water hashira as well as the protagonist.
" You can stay with me for few days but will have to help with household work" He said and both Saya and me replied " Yes, Sir"
Tomorrow morning when I was practicing my sword skill Sakonji came and said," You are quite good with sword, where have you learned it?" He asked curiously.
" My father's subordinate helped me with the sword."I answered his question.
" I didn't asked yesterday but why are you not with your parents." he questioned me.
" We both left our house to go on a training trip which resulted in us coming here." I replied.
" Do you want to train under me" He suddenly asked which surprised me, I thought,' well looks like it was easier than what I thought.'
" Sure, why not " I replies nonchalantly while swinging my sword
