Chapter 13: Attack
After leaving their territory while they were travelling. James saw the beautiful scenery from the window of the carriage. Big mountains, streams coming out from them, lush trees and greenery blue sky filled with a bit of white clouds and the cool breeze coming in from the window.
This scenery was too beautiful to be not remembered. Thus, our little hero used his Smart Phone to take it's picture and used one of the Null Magic PRINT to make a printout of the same and showed it to his parents.
" Nice picture, I believe we could frame this picture and hang it on one of the walls in the main hall, right darling? " Hisui asked to ger husband in such a way that he could never say no to her.
" Y-Yeah why not darling, I will arrange it when we get back from the Royal Capita..."Sylvian was saying when suddenly
*BOOM**BOOM**BOOM*
Suddenly blasts were heard outside of the carriage as the carriage shacked due to after shock
"What happened?" Hisui asked confused, surprised and a bit anger that her family moment was destroyed
" I will go see what happened and no matter what don't come outside the carriage" Sylvian said as he went outside the carriage and James followed him though he was told to not go outside
" James I told you to remain inside" Sylvian asked
" I don't want to remain inside and want to fight as well cause I am nowadays training hard and want to let you see my progress" James said seriously with a glow present in his eyes showing his determination. Seeing the determination present in his son's eyes to protect his loved ones, Sylvian couldn't help but swell his chest with pride and let him enter the battle.
When both went in front of the carriage they saw 2 out of their 6 Knights dead whereas there were around 10 enemies alive and 5 dead.
" LIGHTENING MAGIC:LIGHTENING BOLT" James used his Magic to take out one of the enemy and this act caught the attention of rest of the enemy
" ASSASSINATION: 100 PIERCE" One of the attacker threw a giant ball towards James which later blasted in the middle and 100 arrows came out of it which attacked James
" EARTH MAGIC: EARTH WALL" A small wall made of mud and dirt came out of the ground and defended against those arrows though it was destroyed while doing it.
Then James used null Magic ENHANCEMENT MAGIC to physically strengthen his body as he attacked towards one of the other attacker with a sword made with Light magic.
After killing one other with his swordskill he was exhausted and found that the others were already taken care of and the leader was already caught.
After feeling that there was no more help required he fainted due to Mana exhaustion
3 HOURS LATER
James woke up and started to check for any injury as few of those arrows injured him and then found out that he was already cleaned up and his injuries were already healed.
" James are you alright?" Hisui asked worriedly as she hugged him tightly.
" I am alright, what happened after I blacked out?" He asked worriedly as he wanted to know if something bad didn't happened.
" The leader was caught and they were waiting for you to wake up to let you participate while trying to get information from him. And why did you go outside the carriage when you were told not to? " First she was speaking sweetly and warmth in her eyes but then her eyes went cold in the later part though her voice was still sweet.
" We should first check on others then we will talk about this OK? " James asked and got a "Ok"
