Chapter 258: Chapter 258 The Demon Lord’s Awakening Part 2

As Thomas stood back up he grabbed his sword from the wall and said "Its clear to me that I'm severely out matched, but that doesn't mean I'll just kill over." The demon appeared in front of Thomas and swiped down at him as he shouted "Your resistance is futile!" Thomas barely managed to block the strike as he said "However I am beginning to see your movements." The demon smiled and said "You may be strong compared to those humans but you stand no chance against a true demon." Thomas pushed on his neck and said "Say what you will, but after a while I don't think you'll be a match for me." Thomas smiled and said "Now then let's continue." The demon swiped once clawing Thomas's chest open as he laughed and said "Your still pathetic." Thomas smiled and swung the sword slicing the demon's stomach as he said "Attacking me leaves you open." The demon took a step back and said "You May be the first person to ever harm me." The demon appeared behind Thomas and prepared to plunge his fist through Thomas's back as he laughed and said "Let's see how you do after I remove your spine." As the demon attempted to punch Thomas put the sword behind him blocking the demons hand as he said "Not happening." Thomas quickly turned around and swung at the demon cutting his cheek as he shouted "Let's stop playing around now." The demon wiped his cheek and laughed as he said "You really do wish to die don't you?" Thomas smirked and said "The only thing I wish to do is go back to the inn and go back to sleep, but I can't do that until I deal with you and this demon lord issue." The demon began to swing at Thomas rapidly as he shouted "You still think someone as pathetic as you can stop me!" Thomas began to block a few of the claws still taking heavy damage as he mumbled "I can barely see his movements, let alone keep up with him." The demon smiled and shoved his hand through Thomas's stomach while lifting him off the ground as he laughed and said "Now I have you exactly where I want you!" Thomas held onto his sword and mumbled "Not good, I might lose consciousness." Thomas began to slowly close his eyes as he mumbled "But it I die here, won't the others be killed next?" Thomas gripped the sword and said "No, I refuse to let that happen." Thomas grabbed onto the demon's arm and swung the sword while shouting "Go back to hell you damn demon!" As Thomas's sword made contact with the demon his head immediately came off and his headless body collapsed to the ground with Thomas still impales on the arm. Thomas began to push himself off of the arm as he mumbled "Can't heal with this stupid arm inside of me." Once Thomas was off of the arm he used his sword to balance himself and hoist himself off of the ground as he mumbled "Toby better of dealt with that demon lord summoning circle." As the whole in his stomach regenerated Thomas put the sword back and mumbled "This amulet is only good for one more use, whatever comes next may kill me." Thomas began to walk towards the summoning circle as he mumbled "I don't see them anywhere." Thomas glanced at a doorway and said "They probably went in here." As Thomas entered he seen Toby unconscious and heavily injured and possibly on the brink of death. Thomas walked over to him and said "Looks like you didn't win your fight." After not getting a response Thomas put the amulet on him and said "Well whatever, you just hang tight, that amulet will heal you up in no time." Thomas began to look around as he yawned and said "This is exhausting." Thomas walked back out of the room and said "This room seems pretty safe, I'll just leave you here for now." As Thomas stared at the summoning circle he said "I wouldn't mind learning how to summon a demon lord, although I probably wouldn't since it would be a pain to keep track of and would probably kill me." Thomas walked closer to the summoning circle and ran his hand across it as he said "There's some pretty strong mana coming from this thing." As a voice from behind Thomas asked "Are you interested in seeing it when it's activated?" Thomas glanced behind him and seen another demon standing there as he said "Well kinda." The demon walked around to the opposite side of the circle and said "Then perhaps I'll show you, you can be the first to bear witness upon our lord." Thomas yawned and said "I wonder if they'll let me leave if I just give up and let them summon it." Thomas glanced at the demon and said "Yeah that probably won't work." Thomas stood up and said "Let's just get this over with so we can all go home." The demon raised his hand and held it above the circle as he said "It's too late to try and stop me now, the ritual will be complete once I add the final requirement." Thomas began to walk around the circle towards him as he asked "And what's that?" The demon smiled and appeared beside as he said "Blood." Thomas glanced at him but before he could react the demon's claw like fingernails sliced Thomas's stomach and spilled the blood onto the summoning circle." Thomas held his stomach and glanced at the circle as he mumbled "Dammit, now I really can't do anything." The demon smiled and said "I'll be taking my leave now, I wish you luck." Thomas took a step back and mumbled "Could I have even prevented this?" Thomas glanced around and mumbled "Come on think." Thomas held his hand towards the circle and said "Maybe I can just blow this place." Thomas lowered his hand and said "First I need to get Toby out." Thomas teleported to Toby and then teleported back out next to the army of people. Thomas glanced at the people and shouted "Get as far away from here as you can!" As Thomas vanished once more appearing back in the room he seen the circle glowing red. Thomas stared at it and said "Alright here goes nothing." Thomas raised his hand and shouted "Rupture of-." However before he could finish a beam of red light and a strong gust of wind pushed him back crashing into the wall. Thomas stared at the beam of light and shouted "Dammit, I felled before I even got to try!" Thomas began to push his hand towards the light slowly as he shouted "No, I have to try harder!" As the wind stopped a woman stood there staring at Thomas. The woman pointed at Thomas who was holding has hand towards her as she asked "Were you the one who summoned me?" Thomas lowered his hand and said "No the person who did left." The woman began to walk towards Thomas as she said "That's a real pity, if you were the person who summoned me I would've been sure to reward you." Thomas took a step back and said "Your a lot different then I imagined." The woman nodded and said "Well if course, I must be way stronger then you could've ever imagined, right?" The woman smiled and said "I guess I'll begin my task to exterminate all of humanity now." As she raised her hand to Thomas she said "I'll begin with you and then I'll get to strengthening every monster in this world by hundreds upon hundreds of times and before long I'll have conquered this whole world." Thomas raised his hand to her as well as he said "Then your intentions are exactly what I thought." The woman nodded and said "Of course, have you ever heard of a demon lord who hasn't tried to wipe out humanity." Thomas smirked and said "Once I get rid of you the others will have a chance at a more peaceful life, and although Mary may not forgive me I know I won't forgive myself if I don't try to stop you here and now." As she glanced at his hand she asked "What are you going to do, mimic me?" Thomas smiled and said "I'm gonna do a hell of lot worse, Rupture if soul!" As a giant beam of light covered her Thomas's eye changed to grey as he mumbled "This attack should only be used as a final resort, but right now I don't see any other options." As he collapsed forward the light exploded destroying the entire mountain they were in creating nothing but a huge hole in the ground. The woman stood there in a barrier above Thomas as she said "Your power is impressive." Thomas glanced at her and mumbled "Your still alive?" The woman laughed and said "Of course you didn't think that would kill me did you?" The woman began to walk off as she said "I've had my fill of entertainment today, I'll take my leave and keep you around as my toy, you should be grateful, I was just going to kill you, but now I think I'll save you for last." Thomas began to blackout as he mumbled "My strongest spell failed?"
