Chapter 33: Leveling Up, Part 5
Yiyi was dropped off in front of her apartment, and once she was out of sight, the secretary dialed Madam Sheng...

Yiyi walked into her apartment, and started putting away the groceries she bought. She decided to go with a simple meal by making ramen and adding an egg. When she looked at her stats again, her overall level raised from [3] to [4], along with the added skill [Cooking]. She continued to eat her dinner and went to take a shower.
After her shower she decided to try to level up her [Appearance] and did a face mask, and some other self care tasks. Along with doing a couple push ups to try to increase her [Strength] and [Stamina]. She decided that this would become her routine, and she would slowly increase the amount of effort she put in each time. Subsequently to tiring herself out, she soon fell asleep.

"Ahhh" The older woman wanted to break the teacup she had gotten to calm her nerves. She had just hung up the phone from talking to the Sheng secretary. "How can my baby be doing such lovesick things?" The woman's anger had become pity. Madam Sheng was slouching in a depressed manner across the couch, when her husband came in. Realizing that his wife was sad he quickly rushed over, and began to give her hand a light massage, and several kisses. Although the couple had been together for many years, they were still deeply in love with one another. Madam Sheng explained the call she received, to her man.
"HUH? My lovely daughter.. wuwuwu" Master Sheng let out a deep cry. Normally he would have received a scolding from his wife for being overly protective, but after waiting for his reprimand, he glanced up to see his wife looking pitiful. He adjusted his mood to that of coaxing, and gently comforted his cute wife. "Honey, our daughter is very mature... and she might not be 'lovesick'?" The end of his statement came out as if he was trying to convince himself as well as his wife. "En" The woman looked up and gave a light acknowledgement. The couple hugged, and the man gave his wife a light kiss. She quickly got slightly angry and sulked over the fact that her daughter also bought some cheap skincare products. She was upset over the fact that her daughter was worried about her appearance, as well as the fact that they received 'sponsor' gifts daily from several different, brand name companies... If she wanted skincare products, her mother could have given her a lifetime supply, why would she need to go to a store to buy them herself...
