Chapter 21: Morning of the Engagement (Xian's)

-VRRR- The phone on the boy's nightstand was vibrating. He quickly grabbed it, and turned off the alarm. Xian sat up, and checked the time... 6:00am. He had a habit of rising early, and started texting Ant asking about the suit. [Xian: Where's the suit?] Xian wasn't particularly kind to his subordinates, but he wasn't outright rude either. He was younger than most of his connections, he had helped his father with the business since he turned 14. Since then he had extended his hands more into the underground, and done some networking. His father had dipped his toes in the underworld when the love of his life died, and when he introduced the young Xian to it as well, the boy jumped in head first. Ant was a trusted subordinate of his, one that he had quickly become acquainted with when he first entered into the underworld's crime syndicate.
