Chapter 13: Garden Stroll
As the system had decided now was the best time to announce the completion of Yiyi's first objective. She tensed up a bit. The two older men, both sat down, and continued to negotiate final changes to the contract. Yiyi was in another dimension of her brain when her brother called out to her, "Yiyi, can you take Xian, and show him around the mansion?" With a half-forced smile, Yiyi nodded her head politely, and started walking towards the entry. She assumed that Xian would follow after her. As she was exiting the door she heard her soon to be father-in-law say in a low chuckle, "Ah I see why." Xian had quickly maneuvered himself to chase after Yiyi. The girl had realized that he was the cheeky boy that teased the male lead, and mumbled to herself, "Why wasn't the objective completed if I've met him before?" Yiyi hadn't necessarily been talking to the system, but it had replied [He wasn't your fiance when you first met him.] With that sentence it took all Yiyi had for her mouth to not should 'Ehhhh? Wasn't that just this morning??'

The girl in front of him had been mindlessly strolling as if she had completely forgotten about him. Xian had been watching as Yiyi tried to process what was happening. He observed her reactions very closely, but he wasn't completely sure what she was thinking. The girl who had peaked his interest kept getting more and more interesting. He hadn't talked about any girl to his father, because he had somewhat expected a situation similar to this. His father, Weiyuan Chao was a connoisseur of love, which often led to women mistreating Xian. The women that chased after Weiyun often treated Xian with contempt, or arrogantly, it was clear what they had all wanted, and Xian was another obstacle in the way of getting it. Meanwhile Weiyuan Chao only wanted his son to understand that most the time women had good intentions, however despite whether they cared for his father, or not, they always treated Xian horribly. The young boy endured different types of abuse from the women, along with strong neglect. He held back his prejudices towards women when he attended middle school, but soon after starting his father tried to pry into his life. He started avoiding people in general over the irritation that came with trying to make friends. Over the years, Xian had developed the skills to read faces, and pick up on emotions of those around him. The talent he had in both skills was quiet advanced, so he was unsure of the reason why he couldn't figure out Yiyi's emotions.

Yiyi had, somewhat unintentionally, brought her fiance to an area that didn't have any employees around. She had headed to the garden, while trying to figure out why a mob character needed to be engaged. She hadn't left room open to consider other things, when she decided to introduce herself, "We met yesterday, my name's Yiyi, no need to be polite." The teenage boy in front of her had dark emerald eyes, and darker than midnight hair. He was on par with the main character in terms of looks, and was decently tall. Sheng Yiyi was around 168 centimeters, even though she was decently tall, he still was about a 7 centimeters taller than her. The Yiyi of the novel was quite pretty for a mob character, she was above average in height, along with her slender build. This Yiyi had received the blessing of good genes. The boy took a while to respond before he said in a half-cautious half-prideful voice, "I am Chao Xian."
