Chapter 10: An upcoming event?
With Xian and the ex-male lead, in the courtyard, Yiyi had headed back to the classroom with an uneasy feeling. The boy who had started a fight with Dai Feng seemed familiar. Yiyi had instinctively started biting her fingers knuckle, this was a habit she had in her previous world whenever she felt uneasy, which was quite often. Without paying attention to her surroundings, Yiyi had turned a corner and bumped into the student president who had been assigned to take some papers to the office. The papers fluttered around in a quick way, which snapped Yiyi out of it. She crouched down in an instant and quickly reassembled the stack of papers, and stiffly jolted back up. The young man who had short brown hair was surprised by the girl who was suddenly before him, as he was about to take the papers from her, she started walking off and said, "You're heading to the office right? I'll help you carry some papers since I inconvenienced you." The boy quickly recovered, and walked with the girl who had a calm face that carried a tinge of guilt. The student president wasn't able to pick up this slight reaction, and was just thankful to have received help. The students had reached the office. The boy who planned to introduce himself was left speechless as the girl put the papers she was carrying on his papers, and headed back to her classroom in a leisure manner.

While that was happening the two boys who had been dragged to the courtyard, started back to the classroom when they saw the scene of Yiyi slam into another person. Both of the boys were interested in Yiyi but neither of them could call it love, they hadn't known her for long enough, and hadn't developed a care for her, however neither of them wanted to see someone they each respectively found interesting, and attractive get hurt. Dai Feng was going to interfere when Xian put his arm in front of him and said, "Don't it's just Qiu Lian" "... Who???" You could almost read Xian's face, 'This idiot' "Leave it." Xian walked away. Dia Feng who stood in his spot confused started following Xian back to the classroom. He seemed to trust Xian's judgement, he knew he was smart, but wasn't sure how far that went. Despite Feng's disagreeable nature, he still could see that Xian had the right idea here.

School had come to an end, and Yiyi had headed straight to the car that was waiting at the entrance again. "Young Miss... Madam wants to take you dress shopping in preparation for the gathering this Saturday." Yiyi nodded at the secretary in an understanding manner, remorse filling her eyes. "I understand, let's stop by the apartment so I can change out of my uniform first." The car had headed for the apartment, and Yiyi headed to her place to change. It wasn't long until she was back in the car, and on her way to meet with the original Sheng Yiyi's mother. Her heart which had been quite relaxed felt tense. [Oi- it's not cute when your face is all scrunched.] "..." Yiyi gave a light smile, and felt a bit more at ease from the system's teasing. The car had reached the Sheng mansion, and Yiyi had let herself out of the car, quickly went to greet her family. Soon enough Yiyi was back in the car, this time with Sheng Yiyi's mother. She tried to maintain a bit of a cold atmosphere, but the eyes of a loving mother was able to warm it up quite fast, and suddenly the atmosphere felt fluffy. A mother who was taking her beloved daughter dress shopping, her eyes were practically shining. Yiyi had been acting all tsundere, but when it was just her, and a loving mother (something she only dreamed of having previously) Yiyi had become jelly to the youthful looking woman that was with her. Madam Sheng could have asked Yiyi anything, and yiyi's mouth would've spilled anything. Thankfully, for Yiyi's sake, Madam Sheng only wanted to adorn her daughter in an absolutely stunning dress for the weekend's event. However, Yiyi's luck was running out, as the reason for Saturday's Gathering hadn't yet been disclosed, and she was about to be pulled around for the rest of the day, just to find the perfect dress for her... Poor Yiyi.
