Chapter 9: Gap Moe

Yiyi passed back the note with her reply, and after a bit lunch had started. The girl who had passed the note came over and awkwardly started, "H-Hi I saw you were really tired and distracted during class, and I thought you might've wanted to see the notes I took, i-it's only the first class, and you looked like you hadn't gotten enough sleep, so I figured...-" The girl's rambling trailed off, it had a bit of its own clumsy appeal. Yiyi gave an alluring smile, that would've made Narcissus fall in love, this also caused the girl in front of her to freeze. The girl was taken by surprise when receiving a smile from the rumored to be cold, Sheng Yiyi. The girl with the lovely smile had started to turn away, the girl called out, "-Let's be friends" she said with a smile, and continued, "I'm Lee-ah, can I call you Yiyi?" The girl seemed to have forgotten to give Yiyi her last name, and a bit naturally Yiyi responded, "Sure Lee-ah". [Oi why'd she flinch, make her do it again it was funny] The girl who got her name called by such a rumored to be cold, and arrogant beauty, was in disbelief when the tone out of Sheng Yiyi's mouth was cheerful and not icy. Yiyi had been oblivious to Ying Lee's internal conflict about how such a kind beauty had such bad rumors about her. Yiyi had already opened her new friends notes, and let out an internal sigh, most of the contents was basic algebra which she had pretty much memorized. It looked like this was an easy A, how boring. Xian watched carefully as Yiyi flipped through the pages with uninterested eyes, when an annoying person appeared. "Ah Sheng Yiyi" A boy came up from behind her and pretended to accidentally bump into her. Sheng Yiyi looked back with chilly eyes towards the scumbag who had bumped into her. The youthful looking boy continued with a grin, ignoring yiyi's disapproving glare, Ying Lee now understood why there were bad rumors circulating about Yiyi. "My name's Dai Feng" Yiyi didn't even try to hold back her scoff, and nodded at him without returning an introduction. He started to look pissed off, and Xian from the back of the classroom couldn't contain his laughter. "Hey listen here" Dai Feng said in a slightly held back tone. "What?" Xian said in an innocent voice. They clearly seemed to know of each other, but Feng also appeared to be the type that started fights if his pride was wounded. Just as Xian was about to tease Feng some more, the humiliated boy rushed to grab Xian's collar. Yiyi had already become uninterested again with the boys challenging each other, but she stood up from her seat, handed Ying Lee her book, and headed towards the two boys. The boys who stood at a standstill, with Feng holding Xian's collar, and Xian holding Feng's wrist they both glared at each other. Yiyi quietly approached with a slow gait, once she had silently arrived next to them in an instant each of her hands had pinched and held one of the boys ears. The standstill was broken, and they both leaned towards Yiyi's chest, with that Yiyi had started walking, still holding both of them by the ear. The scene looking a bit like a convenience store owner scolding students for trying to steal some cigarettes. Yiyi dragged the boys toward the courtyard outside of the classroom and said, "If you're going to fight then do it outside." Her attitude made both the boys flush a bit as they came to their senses. Dai Feng had watched Yiyi walk away with eyes that were filled with rage, and a bit of desire, had received an elbow to the rib cage from the boy next to him who glared at him in anger at the pervy lust he was exuding. This scumbag was really good at picking fights.
