Magic!
The mana within my body had definitely flowed and it reacted to my imagination. Why didn't it activate? I thought about all the elves in the anime and manga and come up with a theory. Is it possible that elves were unable to use fire spell? In some anime and manga, certain species have certain affinities to what element of spell they could use. In the anime and manga, most elves would use spells that were of the wood or plant element. Maybe the method was right but the body was unable to use fire affinity spell which cause me to fail in casting the spell.
This time, I decided to choose a relatively simple spell seen in most anime and manga. I chose a tree and imagine it growing up tall and high. Afterwards, I yelled, "Grow!"
Again, I felt the mana within my body moving and gathering in my body. This time, the mana flowed to my hand and the mana was transferred to the tree which resulted in the tree growing.
Seeing this, I could not help but to leap in the air and shouted out loud since I had proven that Magic was real. My body changing to an Elf was definitely magic but this attempt at casting the magic and making it work was like magic to me.
However, in my joy, I realized that I did not stop the flow of magic and the tree was still growing at the same rate and it was only when a shade suddenly appeared on top of me that I realized what had happen. The spell had worked but it had worked too much.
The tree that I have casted that magic on was now twice the size of the trees surrounding it. The sudden growth of the tree had raised the attention of the park managers who was coming along with some park keepers along with some passers-by who had also seen the growth of the tree which was picked up by me thanks to the enhanced hearing.
I quickly climbed the surrounding trees and jumped from tree to tree while making sure not to catch the attention of the people approaching the tree that I have casted magic on and made a quick getaway from the centre of attraction.
