Chapter 4: You Want to Know How to cook?
Mom told me she took Mizuki to the Philippines to sell an old idea, they always buy the old ones. I was still talking to Mom when Kaito came up to me and asked me to meet him outside, this wasn't that strange he usually asked me to meet him after dinner but this time was different. He wants something.
I finish washing dishes again then go to the lake to talk to Kaito, I ask him what he wants to talk about. "Can you teach me how to cook," I knew he wanted something but this was a surprise "I think you should ask Kiza or Mizuki for help with that," as I told him this he seemed confused, "why would I ask them?" now I was confused, "well they are better at cooking than I am." he seemed even more confused, "no you are the best at cooking, that is why only you make the meals," I hadn't realized that untill he said it and it was true, even Mom didn't cook anything.
"I am the only one who cooks because everyone else is busy with something else." he looked at me with fire in his eyes then said, "that's not true, it's because you are the best cook that no one else will bother." hearing that from him I decided on my answer, "Tomorrow at 5am." if I was going to teach him I had to do it early. "Okay see you then!" after he left I went to my room to think about what to make for breakfast, I thought about it for an hour before I had an idea. "We'll make eggs, rice, and bacon." right before I fell asleep I decided to make pancakes too.
I woke up as usual and went downstairs, I forgot I was going to teach Kaito to cook so he scared me. "Good morning, what are we making for breakfast?" I gestured for him to follow me " we're having eggs, rice, bacon, and pancakes. First we need to get some more bacon and rice." I told him as we put on our shoes.
As I enchanted the front door he asked, "why are we going to Mahō?" after I finished the enchantment I told him, " Mom said she needed boar tusks and we haven't practiced our magic for almost a month." he seemed confused at first but he caught on fast. " Oh so we get the bacon and tusks while continuing to practice our magic!" I nodded and we went through the door.
We where near a town border. I turned to Kaito. " do you have your ID?" I guessed that he didn't have it and I was right. " turn into a child then," even though he was fifteen he needed to look like he was ten to pass without ID. " why do we need to go in the town?" I looked at him for a while then said, " Mom said she needs needs high quality tusks."
