Chapter 4: THIS YEAR MUST BE AWESOME
I already adjusted. I get along with Nina, Amanda, John, Natasha and others..
This year must be awesome. Besides, I already planned to make this year better than the last.
"Ava, what are you thinking? Are you dreaming? It's too early love", Nina tapped me at the back.
I came back to my senses. "Nah, maybe we should go shopping Nins, don't worry it's my treat", I teased her.
"Stop you crazy girl, we should attend our last class. I heard the substitute professor is a terror one." Nina said
"Huh? You nerd? Okay,if you say so, I'm not in the mood to go home though".
"Well, let's study afterwards. In any case, I will not let my best friend fail in her Math subject again." Nina said.
"You crazy witch!" We laughed so hard. Our Calculus class started. "Gosh! I really hate it. I
wish I could do something to make my life easier. Damn!" I said to Nina.
"Ava, will you please shut up! Anytime soon, our professor will be here. You wouldn't like him hearing those words from you." Nina said.
"Ohh, come on! Don't be silly". Why don't we just skip today's class besides, it's our first day!" Ava said to the whole class.
Ava took a glance at the mysterious guy beside him.
You're new here. Where are you from?" Ava vividly asks.
He gave you a grin.
Nathan stood up. "Ava is right. Come on guys, I guess the new professor is old, look it's almost 4:00 PM and he doesn't even show up".
The whole class laughed...
When everyone is about to go, the mysterious guy stood up.
"Good afternoon class! For everyone who wishes to go, the door is open, and for those who want to learn you can stay. You (points to Ava) Ms. Ava right? You can go. Please bring with you Mr. Varsity Player" he said.
Everybody laughs...
By the way, I'm Mr. Andrews, your new Calculus teacher", he said.
"No way Nins, he looks like our age. He must be pranking or something", Ava said.
"Stop it girl", Nina said.
The class continued and was dismissed early.
At the hallway, you overheard Charlotte and her squad chatting. "No way, he's so damn hot!", she uttered.
*Everyone seems to be curious about the new Calculus teacher...
Later that afternoon, Mr. Hobbs asked all the student to gather at the gymnasium.
*Clears throat*
"Ms. Winsley will take over the meeting for the upcoming homecoming week. So everyone, I hope you'll cooperate."
*Ehem *Ehem... Good afternoon everyone. I'mm Charlotte Winsley and I will be the head of this year's Homecoming. I hope everyone will be participating well during the event.
*murmuring
"What the hell, is Mr. Hobbs out of his mind? Why did she let that bitch took over?" Natasha whispered to Amanda
"I think she's good! HAHAHA not long before she gets mad and show her true form. HAHHAA" Julian butted in.
"HAHAH! Enough, enough!! Besides, let's give her a chance to prove herself.." said Josh..
**Charlotte begin telling her opinion..
"I wanted this year to be magical.. I have two options to relay for this year's theme. First is the UNDER THE SEA THEME and next is the BROADWAY THEME." she said excitedly.
"Is that your sense of magical?", Tiara shouted from a distance.
"Yeah!" "OHHH"
"Wow! (Charlotte raises her brow) Do you have better idea genius?".. Charlotte exclaimed.
"I think RAVE party will be awesome. let's deal away with your fairy tale dream Charlotte".. Tiara sarcastically said.
(everybody makes different noises) Yes!! Here, here!! Yeah!!
Charlotte was pissed...
"Huhhh!! Like what Tiara, infest our Homecoming Party with your rebel mindset?? Duh!! Charlotte said..
"You know what Charlotte, I think we can put some black lights and add neon colors.. We can also use a lot of glow in the dark", Ava said.
Everybody agrees on it and decided to have a Rave Party for this year's Homecoming Party..
