Chapter 11: Nightmares
For some reason that night Elan went to sleep she started to have a nightmare. Elan normally doesn't have dreams when she is around the guys but every once in awhile Elan has a dream. This time she was having a nightmare and couldn't wake up. Elan began to talk in her sleep which woke up Tyler.
"Why are you here, who are you, what are you doing"?
Elan was scared because she couldn't understand her dream but all she knows is she is running away from someone. Elan was scared. Tyler saw and heard everything that Elan was saying in her sleep. Tyler was about to wake up Elan and he saw a cut form across her face so he woke her up as fast as he could.
Elan screamed and woke up Jacob and Lucas as well. Elan sat up and curled into a ball crying. Jacob and Lucas rushed over to the bed trying to comfort her. Tyler called an ambulance to take Elan to the hospital. On their way to the hospital they didn't have enough room in the ambulance for everyone to go so Tyler gave the car keys to Lucas and said to meet us there.
Elan arrived at the hospital and got a scan of her body but she refused a head scan. Tyler thought it was weird.
The doctor came into the room and asked if the guys can leave the room while he talks to Elan.
"I know your family history since I know your grandmother. I can't believe that this is already starting to happen to you. This isn't supposed to be happening yet. Your nightmares are starting to become real."
Elan looked at him half unconscious and scared she said what happened to me. Elan gave him a look of her not knowing what he was talking about. He looked scared and quickly started asking her questions.
"Elan do you know what day it is? Do you know what your name is?"
Elan shook her head no. The doctor ran out of the room to order a head scan and for him and only one nurse to observe the scan as soon as possible. They rushed Elan out of the room. Tyler, Jacob, and Lucas watched them rush her out of the room and got scared.
After an hour they brought back Elan to the room and began to explain what was wrong with her to the three boys.
"Elan has a broken rib, broken arm, sprained neck, and slight amnesia."
"What happened to her?" Tyler asked the doctor but the doctor just stated you will find out when she is ready to tell you. The doctor walked out of the room and forgot the file.
Tyler picked up the file and took some pictures of it really fast and put it back down so it wouldn't be noticed that he opened it. The doctor walked back in and picked it up and told them make sure you guys take care of her and don't let her our of your sight and you can be discharged to go back to your home.
Tyler picked up Elan very carefully to put her in the wheelchair so she doesn't hurt her ribs oh undo all the bandages around her. When they arrived home the carefully put Elan in the bed and made sure she went back to sleep calmly.
The twins went back to sleep and Tyler sat down next to Elan. He pulled out his phone and started to look at Elan's medical files. His eyes widened while he was reading the files and medical history.
She had a bunch of visits of injuries when she was 5-8 years old and the only people that seen her file was friends of the family. He continued to read and on the bottom it stated that the injuries happen to her when she has nightmares and how some of them tend to happen in real life.
It stated everything about her dreams and the history in family records. He continued to read and then he read that the nightmares would only stop when she finds true love. Tyler put down his phone and tucked elan under the covers and put medicine over the stitches on her face and put a cold rag on her forehead and went to the kitchen to make some porridge to feed Elan since she can't chew any food. While he was cooking he decided to make some food for himself and steamed some vegetables to go with his porridge.
Tyler finished cooking and was letting it cool down and squeezed some orange juice into a cup for Elan. He put a straw into the cup so elan didn't have to open her mouth to much to drink the orange juice.
Tyler put the porridge into a small bowl and walk into the room and carefully woke up Elan and help feed her the food and helped her drink the orange juice. Elan was little hesitant on excepting the food from Tyler because she didn't remember who he was but she eventually trusted him to eat the food. After she finished he laid her back down carefully and tucked her in again. Tyler went back to the kitchen and did the dishes ate his food and began to head back to bed. He changed Elan's towel. He laid down since it was already three in the morning so he went to go to sleep.
