New name

"HAHAHAHAHA perfect! I knew you couldn't refuse my offer", Kalvera laughed ecstatically, "Now all that is needed is to form a contract. Hold out your hand and prepare yourself. there shouldn't be much pain, but I don't what you to think I'm killing you or something."

Holding his hand out reluctantly, he felt the same sensation as earlier, when a sudden cold gripped his hand. This lasted momentarily as the cold turned to warmth and spread from his hand to his whole body. It felt as though he was being hugged in sunlight, and soon he got lost in the comforting embrace. It could've lasted seconds or eternity, but eventually, the warmth seeped away, leaving him with a melancholic sensation. Shaking his head he looked up, and was surprised to see that the mist was gone and in its place, a field of flowers. The black sky, slowly turned brighter and brighter till it looked like a beautiful sunny day. "Kalvera? What happened?"

From behind him, a single feminine voice called out, "We have entered a contract otherworlder, you can truly see what I and my domain have to offer" Turning around, he was surprised to see a young woman wearing an exquisite white dress, She had pitch-black hair and heterochromatic eyes, one a deep blue, and the other a golden yellow. "surprised?", she giggled "this is my true form only those bound by a contract can see" She then twirled around as if to give him a full view of her.

his surprised face turned neutral as he calmed down. "I'm a little surprised, but given how you were acting earlier, it makes more sense" After the initial shock, he appraised Kalvera more closely. As the first living thing he's seen, he was more than interested. She was just slightly shorter than him a had a very petite body. Her skin looked like porcelain, and he wouldn't be surprised if it was. Her hair was like a black waterfall passing well beyond her shoulders. Peering into her eyes, he sees something he hadn't noticed. The blue one on her left had what seemed to be stars and moved ever so slightly, While the yellow one had a small, pure white cross covering her pupil. He found her eyes quite interesting but would have to save his curiosity for later as Kalvera addressed him, "It's not polite to stare so much, even if I am the first girl you'll see in this life,"

"I apologize, but it is as you say. I couldn't hold my curiosity back...sorry," He scratched the back of his head and looked into the distance, hoping to find something to distract him. Kalvera chuckled, "Well, it is natural. As an otherworlder, you have an innate desire to learn and explore. Maybe one of these days ill let you explore someplace special, but now is not the time for that. The contract is sealed. Follow the rules, and ill keep up my end of the bargain. First, I need to give you a name, hmmm," Kalvera put her hand to her chin, as if in deep thought. He shook off her earlier comment and recollected his thoughts.

A deity named kalvera had snatched his soul from ascending to the afterlife to give him another chance. He was a member of the endangered race known as otherworlders who had great potential for magic and invention and had an insatiable curiosity. He would be given life as long as he followed three simple rules, a rule of three. This is too good, isn't it? Surely kalvera had an ulterior motive...or maybe not. He could not discern much with the little information he has. Well... it's not like he has much a say in it.

"Come here Otherworlder," Kalvera suddenly said in a heavy tone. He nodded and walked closer to her, unsure of the sudden mood change. "Have you got a name for me?" he asks in a lighter style. She nodded and closed the distance even further. Now they were standing right in front of each other, and she had to slightly tilt her head to meet his gaze. "A naming ceremony is a trivial matter amongst mortal races but between a deity and mortal, it is different. A name given by a deity holds power and any who have the fortune of receiving a name is destined to make an impact on the world. Good and bad. Once you accept the name I'm giving you, you will be transported to the lower world, and we won't be able to make contact for a while... If you have any questions, now would be a good time to say so..."

She spoke clearly yet softly. If her words are true, he'll be alone in a world he knows almost nothing about to fend for himself against gods know what. Sounds like a fun time. He had many questions, more than he can count, but he wanted to get the show on the road. Any question he has, he'll need to find the answers himself. "I have no questions, kalvera. I'm ready."

"liar," She stated. "But I'll concede to your wish" She closed her eyes, breathing in and exhaling slowly, readying herself. A sudden gust of wind blew, and she started glowing in divine light, slowly she began to rise a few feet. "Otherworlder, today you who was pronounced dead now live again, take the name 'Aesar Kalvera Thesin' and make your limited time in the endless world fulfilling."

She opened her eyes revealing that both were glowing their respective colors, and stared right at Aesar. "I, Kalvera Aeigisfell, grant you the gift of life and blessing of name, good fortunes to you Aes."

Her speech completed Aesars vision faded and he was lulled into a dreamless sleep.
