Chapter 44: Epilogue: No, no, my dear sweet cupcake, come and help dad
Linda found something heavy on her. It somewhat suffocated her. Struggling for breathing she woke up from her deep slumber and adjusted her vision to the light.
Linda heard giggles filled all over the room. Even after waking up from her sleep she was suffocated, she tried sitting up but only to realize something heavy on her chest. She shifted her eyes downwards only to find Athena sitting on her stomach with her hands rested on her neck.
"Good morning, dear. What are you doing?",Linda greeted her five year old daughter.
Smiling sheepishly at her mother, Athena got down from her mother and ran outside the room.
Linda was amused by her actions but didn't bother so much and sat straight in the bed. Only then she noticed Aslan standing there with his heads tied at back.
"Good morning, dear.",Linda said and Aslan smiled at her awkwardly and said "Morning, mom. I gotta go.", with this he turned and ran away.
Linda smiled and walked towards the washroom. The scenario which she saw earlier was an usual one. Most of her mornings will be filled with her kids or her darling husband.
Linda looked at the mirror and was shocked at what she saw. Her mouth hung open. The bathroom door opened and the laughter filled the bathroom. She found her kids and her darling husband standing there laughing.
"Whose idea was this?", Linda asked pointing her face.
Athena and Aslan both hid behind their father's leg.
"I asked who did this?", She gave a pause between each and every word.
"Definitely, it was dad.",Aslan voiced out and giggled. Zenith looked at disbelief by what his son has done.
"Dad, just accept the crime you have committed. Your punishment can be reduced.", his dear daughter was also pushing him to the dead end.
Rising his hands in defeat,"OK, well and fine. I'm the one who gave this idea, but someone accompanied me.", he turned towards his kids who where retreating silently after pushing him to the dead end. He held them both in his hands so they cannot escape from him and continued,"These two little buns helped me to make my idea successful."
Linda looked at the three standing there pointing each other. A big grin escaped her face.
"No, run.",Zenith shouted at his little buns when he was able to see the outcome of her grin.
Athena and Aslan both ran outside the bathroom and hid inside the bedroom, but Zenith who helped his children was caught while trying to escape and Linda pinned him down.
"No Linda, you shouldn't.",Zenith warned her but Linda didn't answer him and searched for some sketch pens to doodle in his face.
She couldn't find any and feeling defeated she planned to let Zenith go but suddenly a small hand popped out of nowhere with different colored sketch pens. Zenith looked at his son in disbelief for the second time.
"Sorry, dad. You deserve this.",Aslan laughed and gave his mom a few sketches and opened one sketch pen to doodle in his face.
"No, no, my dear sweet cupcake, come and help dad.", Zenith could only think about his daughter to seek for help.
Athena smiling sheepishly walked with her hands tied back and took a sketch pen when she was a meter away from him.
"Sorry dad, this time your endearments doesn't work on me, like it works with mom.",Athena teased both mom and dad at same time and started doodling his face.
Athena was at the left side of him, Aslan at the right and Linda sitting on his stomach to hold him in a place.
